  11. hagar, thanks for helping me spend more money .. After looking at the edge and forerunner and speakin to some1 that had both, I bought the Forerunner this morning. 12. buy a turbo diesel, runs on fumes, never worry bout stuff like consumption increases
  13. hey word i emailed greg, he sez : The two devices are essentially identical ? in fact the Forerunner has a few more functions to cater for running as well. In bike mode it?s identical to the Edge ? has altitude, virtual training partner etc etc. The only thing one has to buy extra to use it with a bike is the cadence sensor. Hope that helps
  14. the garmins is prob. a nicer option if you play in the mud. How much sense does plotting the route make for roadies ?
  15. word i guess ur right, things seem cheap when u just do the direct conversion
  16. found some specs on gpscity, seems u can also get cadence sensor for it, so shud definately support cycling. the big question is does it have altitude meter?? My biggest interest in buying a gadget is getting profile maps of where i ride, need to test my new profile utility i wrote for my trainer maybe the cs400 wud be good enough option.

  22. pm word, i know hez got 1. Im also looking at something like that (cycle comp + HR + altitude meter), what i dont like about the garmin is its big, and stuck to the bike, cant use it when going to gym (i.e the HR)
  24. "drop dead" when the frame breaks @ 60km/h downhill
