  3. Now very happy I did not enter this year, hopefully this will change back next year. That route has a special place for me, as it was my first ever race.
  4. But I do agree that in anything written you should try to be as clear as possible. If something can be misuderstood, there will be someone that inteprets it that way and gets offended.

  6. When the site is only on half the screen this is what I see. How do I get to this button that is visible in fullscreen? The active topics takes me to another feed, not the saved one?

  11. If you didn't do as well with fitness points or health check this year, they topped you up to your figures from last year, or something to that effect. Woke up one day and jumped from silver to plat, was pleasantly surprised.
  12. With a family history of obesity, I saw my boep starting to grow and knew I had to do something about it. Going to a gym, or even running can only keep me interested for so long, but outside on a bicycle I can cycle off all the pizzas I keep on eating. So currently I mostly cycle to keep eating whatever I like, and enjoying it as well.
  13. How is Redhub for a first Tri? Seems they want to go ahead for 22 November. I am entered for Durban 70.3 next year, and Redhub might be good motivation to star training now. Have not been in the pool much since Durban was cancelled this year.
  14. I usually used the Wattbike app to record, then connect BT HR strap to the bike. Everything then syncs to Strava if you connect the app. Also the Wattbike broadcasts power, and cadence. So you can use any cycling computer to pick those up and record your ride, used my Wahoo Bolt a few times when phone was flat.

  18. I am seeing on the rider list every team has two subs, any idea how that works? I have not heard of substitutions in cycling yet,
  19. Cradle moon is a bit hard to do on a roadbike.
  20. Can confirm, was there at just before 07:00, started as Valverde. Was not in the way of many riders,
  21. I did the loop last week, just under 29km staying on the route. If you are worried about fitness, do the climbs on the road, much easier, then hop back on for the descents.
  22. The odd runner, some the wrong way, but nothing like the dodging off all the groups on the road.
  23. Thought I was on a coffee ride this weekend, until I looked down at my HR. Definitely vigorous, just not especially fast.
