Ouch! Keep the wounds moist - mix Betadine and Vaseline apply to wounds liberally and keep covered with transparent plasters. Re-apply daily. One week and you'll only see some scarring.

You guys need to hone your skills and crash less. Unless you're a pro or very competitive amateur that gets at least three leg massages a week, leg shaving is purely for image; a form of commitment for many; and for some, habit. Personally, I can't see the point of body hair these days, so encourage its removal and management among cyclists and normal people alike...

Yeah, that University Kermesse from the 80s was a toughie, but safe. Try big car parks that aren't used during weekday evenings. Used to be a kermesse at the Pavilion on the roof car park some time back, but figure that's out these days. New suburbs that have no houses yet, big companies on a Friday afternoon ? Durban work stops at lunchtime on Friday doesn't it?

When you do shave your legs, shave your arms too. Looks marginally less dorky than just shaved legs.
