  1. Quick update, I have narrowed it down to it being an issue with my hub, got a wheel from a friend and it went straight in, no issues, everything working fine, so now to figure out what is wrong with the hub, or just get a new hub....
  2. No, they are spinning fine, even without the chain on the bike now it is stiff when spinning the wheel backwards, forwards it is fine, but backwards it is stiff
  3. Anything is possible, a friend said the same thing, but I would ld like to go through other possibilities first
  4. Ok, had another quick look now when I got home, took the chain off and the wheel won't spin backwards properly, and the freehub is tight when the axle is tight, could the cassette be rubbing the spokes? I will take the cassette off tomorrow and see if it still does the same thing
  5. The free hub seems fine, not sticky at all, but I will strip, clean, regrease and check the spring just to be sure
  6. Will do, hope I can get one
  7. Another question for the knowledgeable folks on the hub. I had a bit of a tumble on my MTB the other day, bent the derailleur hanger quite badly and the derailleur itself took a big hit as well, now the drive train is tight, if I loosen up the axle it gets better, but when the axle is tightened it gets tight and won't back pedal, the chain just goes slack. The rear wheel spins freely, even when the axle is tightened and the cassette and free hub seem to spin freely as well, could it be that the derailleur is just bent out of shape causing the issue? The hanger I have straightened out as best I can with a tool I made, and it shifts to all gears, but it has a bad dragging feeling all the way through the cassette. BB is spinning freely as well, the only thing I can think is the derailleur or hanger are causing the issue? Any suggestions on other things to check?
  8. Assuming that this picture was taken from the side of the car the ProRide will fit
  9. North to South meaning they run along the length of the car? Front to back? Then I don't think they will fit, go past a Thule store, they are very helpful and will be able to tell you what you can or can't do
  10. Completely adjustable, they are made for roof racks If I remember correctly, they recommend 550mm-750mm between the roof racks
  11. That is a pretty picture ????????
  12. After my last few rides, a couple hours after the ride, I have started feeling a little light headed and get a head rush almost every time I stand up, no matter how slowly I get up, what would cause this? Is it something to be concerned about?
  13. Tried some DH riding at Iron Throne today, I feared for my life, man did I under estimate what those guys do, but it was super fun, will definitely go do it again
  14. It's a 160-180 spacer with 1.5mm washers
  15. Not sure if you can do the seal head swap on the Revelation, just Google it to make sure, basically it is just changing the seal head on the air spring shaft, it makes the negative air chamber smaller and helps make the fork more supportive in its mid stroke. The brake rotor wasn't something that HAD to be changed, but I found one for a really good price
  16. I did a LOT of reading up on all the bikes, this one seemed to suit my needs well, it is the best specced of all the bikes I looked at, except for the Carbon Revolt, but that was 2nd hand and sold before I had made a decision, and on top of all of that, Rory at Ridgeway gave me an awesome deal that just really put all the others out of the running. I also rode both the Norco and Cannondale, while it was just a parking lot ride, the Cannondale just felt nicer to me, I know it is impossible to REALLY tell in a parking lot, but sometimes you just kinda know....
  17. LOTS of confidence, it has been the cause of a few tumbles on my side as well. I put a 2.5 DHF on the front and a 2.4 Ardent on the rear, made a big difference, now I want to see what lighter wheels will do, going to loan a friend's Carbon wheels and see how that affects the ride. I also fitted a 203mm rotor in front which makes a big difference on braking performance, and I did the air seal head swap on the fork, also makes a notable change to the bikes handling
  18. So thanks to everyone who had some pointers for me, after lots of thinking, reading, sleepless nights, tests ride and negotiating and even more thinking back and forth, up and down, left and right, I finally made a decision and got the Cannondale Topstone 105, I got a really sweet deal on it and I am very happy with my decision, tomorrow is ride day ????????????
  19. Yoann Barreli disagrees
  20. Awesome, congratulations, I wish I had the grey frame, prefer it to the my copper frame
  21. Pretty sure the OP will be happy you saved him like R4k for the same product
  22. Doubt that will cause it, I run a SRAM link on my M7100 chain, haven't had any issues, I run it like that so that I don't need the Hyperglide Chainring
  23. Thinking about this setup for my bike, probably a bit overkill, but rather safe than sorry...
