Never had any safety issues at Tokai or Silvermine. And there is usualy enough riders there on a weekend to make you feel safe. Other option is one the Tygerberg trials, which is a lot closer to Milnerton. (http://www.tygerbergmtb.co.za/)

Hey Mat... depends on what you want to ride, and how far you want to go. Road. Lots of riders on the road from Green Point to Chappies (and further on from there). Gives you an chance to see some of the most scenic spots in CT. If you're on the MTB, Tokai to Silvermine is always a nice ride. Both of these are about 15-20 minutes from Milnerton.

Well the wife is not keen on me having a Mo again this year, so maybe this is a good idea.

Check the battery in the polar receiver (the thingy you mount on the fork close to the magnet thingy). And don't bother buying the "Polar" replacement battery. Just go to your nearest watch/camera shop. They sell the exact same battery for much less.
