I went through the same exercise a while back. I asked a number of my female friends for their input on it. Pretty much all of them said that you don't need a women's specific bike. Just make sure you get the right size.

Now I know who to whack for a Sani2C entry!! [evil grin] We'll be training for the 100Miler which is more or less the same time though.

I'm in the middle of the same process. Used paint stripper to clean the old paint from the frame. Taking more or less the same approach on the painting... I got some new stickers from Tyerone the Vynil Guy. Just waiting for the holiday to arrive so I can finish the project! I have been wondering about the durability of the clear coats... thinking the panelbeater optioin for the clear coats might not be a bad idea...

I loved that place! Had to swop it for the trails in Cape Town though

I remember seeing it under the Bike setup on my 720. Think it is the last setting in that menu. Hope it helps!

Ok... so I'm (relatively) new in CT... What makes the Swartberg Pass such a spiritual experience?

Have you done the Argus MTB race before? I did it this year and did enjoy it very much. Die Burger MTB challenge / GravelTravel / etc was much better!

To the physio ladies at the water points... THANK YOU. The healing hands and awesome "gees" got me to the end of the race! Same goes for the support from other cyclists on the road when the knee decided it had enough of the race... The people of Jo'burg... you made me proud to say I used to be one of you To the people who makes this race happen... I'll see you again next year!

I was saying to a friend last night that a proper race calendar feature on the TheHub would be awesome. So well done for being AWESOME!

Welcome to Mountain biking!! Plenty of bargains here... just have a look around!

It's the 94.7 Expo in Sandton next week. You should be able to get some bargains there. There are numerous brands out there. Get something that won't destroy your budget. It's money worth spending!
