  1. Some people use a Camelbak, but I prefer my light on my handlebar and the battery pack duct taped to me top tube.
  2. The only specific underwear that I know of is your bare ass. Trust me thats what the padding is designed for. Two shorts will last you a long time. And please wash them after every ride

    Wyatt Earp

  4. If it ends with Dale and has a lefty....its the best
  5. How old is this tyre? Maybe ask for a replacement if its still relatively new
  6. Hehe. Got to love them!
  7. There is something seriously wrong with this story, I get people trying to scare you, but this **** is just too much.
  8. Where are earth did you manage to find these series?
  9. Yeah the thread title is far from the truth, maybe a problem with his browser and not the website? Also managed to enter with no problems
  10. Please give a list of parts you need and I will dig in my garage
  11. Nice work divernick . You give a guy a bike for free and he brings it back complaining. Not jumping to conclusions but I will explode. I have two Mtb rims (v-brake rims) with tires and a 7 spd cassette in good condition if you are interested.
  12. Don't know, don't have Chris King hubs, but go look trough the thread that BigBen suggested. Maybe he said it their somewhere.
  13. Thanks, but after 15000 km of using ANY kind of grease on all my components, no problems so far. The most important thing is to regularly service your bike and when doing that the old grease gets cleaned of and you put new ones on/in. But each to its own I guess. Lots of times I sommer used grease we buy at our work in 15kg cans. No problems so far
  14. Best comment was from Old Johan "Use any old grease you can buy at Midas. Bikes don't require special grease anywhere. The exception is Chris King hubs on the ring drive. No need for Marine grease since we don't have to protect our Jhb bikes against salt spray or salt water intrusion. And, there is no such thing as waterproof grease. "
  15. Any grease you can get at Midas or any motor shop
  16. Reading all the comments on series you people are watching. So many I never heard of, if I attempt to watch all of them I will be busy till the end of next year
  17. My two German Shepherds Keiser and Maverick having some fun with my brothers daughter. Trying to bite the water drops in the air
  18. Some photo's from my vacation @home. Goose receiving he's Christmas gift Goose after eating he's Christmas gift Goose after being washed - He was not happy at all
  19. After reading your post on Facebook about your bonus and helping out @Huskyrescue I was truly inspired and in awe about what you did I'm planning on doing the same here in Bloemfontein. Still no one here is looking out for the furry Husky creatures and will try and help where I can. If I had the money and space I would own a whole pack of them. Truly magnificent animals!
  20. I thought ZTR Arch is pretty much up there with the best of them?
  21. Or get a credit card and pay it of monthly, or just save the money.
  22. Fun indeed, did my last one for the first time as a four man team. We did not even once train together before we showed up in Willowmore, and I was in my worst shape yet for the Baviaans, but we all did a personal best @Baviaans and it was jokes and smiles all the way. Not that hard of event and with minimal training you can enjoy this amazing experience and ride under 15hours
  23. Lots of advise on the 2012 thread. But just enter and come and train with us trough the winter, we will tell you everything you need to know
  24. Just do it, one of the best value for many single stage races out there. WARNING : If the Baviaans gogga bites you, there is no turning back. Going for number 4 this year
