  1. Epic cycles, Doornkloof Shopping Centre, Centurion. Awesome, friendly, helpful, skilled and affordable.
  2. Testing a Sigma 50-500 at Pretoria zoo.....before the cycling gogga ruined my photography hobby!
  3. It's unfortunate that the page break is not doing justice to your witty contribution. Post some images so we can see if your photography matches your sense of humour.
  4. Gansbaai Harbour
  5. +1 We have a Cane Creek on the Tandem, because the stoker's back could not manage the blind bumps. Pain to pleasure...will never be without it again. They supply a coloured combination of 4 shock blocks of which the correct 2 will match your weight with NO sagging. If sore back/bum from bumpy ride is the problem, this is a good solution. If additional backwheel travel on rocky downhills are the requirement, this is not a solution.
  6. +1 - We spent a fortune on different saddles until we did the fitting and got appropriate saddles + good quality pants.
  7. I buy wherever I can get the best price.(Cajees/CWC/HotSpot) I service wherever I get the best service...Andre at Epic. I ride wherever I have the most fun....Groenkloof/Babbas/Vori-berg/Argus/94.7/Ride for Sight/DarknDirty
  8. Certain things are important to some cyclists: 1. To ride the same route/distance as the other cyclists one has to compete with. 2. Not to have to queue for kilometers at the entrance. 3. An unimaginative, minimalistic, nothing to do with cycling, goody bag? 4. To have to ask for your medal at the finish. Maybe next time...maybe not?
  9. Assos took the pain out of my assos...priceless
  10. And then there a the supercops who comes puffing up the jeeptrack and shouts "single track single track" at any rider who dares to come from the opposite direction. I guess that is the benefit of Groenies...it has "dual singletracks" haha!
  11. On the tar and the real rough stuff, I love the 29er. When it is very steep or long uphill I miss my carbon 26er.....pick your pain and pick your pleasure.
  12. My wife loves her Anthem x1 29er to bits. After the 26 hardtail, the 29er duallie is pure Gomma Gomma * Very forgiving * Super soft ride * Wide tyres easier over sandy terrain
  13. No "In-Memoriam" thread/Forum/posts/pictures on this website? You gone..you gone? that's it?
  14. We had the oppopsite when "dikwiel" were the dominant bikes and these "dunwiel" 26ers were suggested to be faster, better, lighter. Is this "REVENGE OF THE DIKWIEL" ?
  15. Will the Endomondo compatible Polar Bliuetooth HR transmitter also transmit to the RS800 watch?
  16. Road bike I deflate to low pressure. Tubeless MTB - don't bother as @ 2bar they are pretty docile already
  17. We were so unimpressed with the US recall, we bought 2 and have had a cracking time ever since! Awesome bikes.
  18. Missus and I been on ours since December 2010. Cannot compare it to the hardtail 26ers before. Wooden bench vs Gomma Gomma. The 2 bikes replaced the Yorkie as our travel companions!
  19. Please, please send this as a tip to Carte Blanche so they can have a good issue to pursue.
  20. So what did you get?
  21. My hands go to sleep on long rides. The bar ends helps with varing the grip to alleviate it.
  22. Are we comparing a 5" travel duallie with a 0" hardtail and finding the duallie a more comfortable ride, especially on technical non XC tracks? If yes, I totally agree. Trance is a great bike for bumpy, creepy crawly stuff.
