I would just like to warn every cyclist cycling around Botlary road to be very carefull. On Satuday morning an eldery cyclist was cycling along Cecil Morgan Drive, Brackenfell when he was pulled over by 2 black males "wanting to buy his bike". Fortunately a fellow cyclist came along and asked what was going on, they then got in the car and took off. The bike was very old in the first place, but it would appear as if these blokes had ulterior motives. I do not know the description of the car and the exact details, but please be aware especially when cycling alone and early in the morning.

I weigh more or less the same as you and had a pair of Mavic Ksyrium ELites for about 4 years (±25000km) with no problem at all. I now ride the SL's for about 2 years and have done about 15000km with them with 2 spokes breaking on the drive side of the rear wheel. So I am of the opinion that the Elites are as they say bomb proof.
