    Just welding Aluminium is not enough, the frame will need heat treatment after welding. and potential realigning. use a company that does both for you

    I bought a 2001 Defender 90 TD5 last year. and i love driving it. I also looked at series but i want to do harder 4x4 and decided against the leaf sping setup and old petrol engines. I would still like a series 2 or 3 just for kicks if i had money and space

    I Like the Eliminator as dry wheater tyre , i rode in jonkers once while it was raining and as a font tyre inteh wet it was quite scary

    Ive had the same with two Cotics ive had on the Hub for more than two years. In the one case every now and then i get a message saying im asking way to much and i just refer them to Cotics site to go buy a new one ( whitch cost a lot more) In the other case i have declined to sell my BFe on several occasion since the buyers obviously did not understand why the bike is special. Ive now decided to strip my solaris max and build up the flare max thats "to expensive" and ride that again but wondering whehter its worth punting the Solaris max up for sale

    I built my Cotic BFe as 26" Single speed and it is a total hoot, the combination of a big 150mm fork and no choice but to pedal made it a huge amount of fun especially on steeper trails like jonkes and helderberg. as soon as the roads got flat it was frustrating , spinnig out and taking forever to cover ground. i used a simple 2sprocket chain tensioner - worked well

    Im running a 140mm pike on my solaris max, i think 120mm whould be better but dont put anything less than a Pike on. The bike inspires confedance and you dont want to be let down on the rocky decents. I would also recomend a 150mm dropper post for that

    I found that some rust and dirt formed on the connector over time, have a look and see if you can clean it up a bit

    I use the workouts , so havent hit a distance limit yet, and that use 1 for 7 days. Ill try a just a ride today

    i found that zwift does not very email accounts. If if you dont need points and achevemtns kept jusy make up a new email every week and set the ftp to where you last were

    Its a easy DIY project. very carefully remove old leather. soak new leather and stretch it over the seat and let dry it will shrink into form use contact adhesive and glue down while giving a last stretch
