  1. I like my F6, Ive been using it for about a month now, after a few years of 910XT. I like the bluetooth and other smart features like the map. Pulse HR is a problem when running. It seems to mostly track the cadence of my arms.
  2. If you look at other countries, it takes about 3 months for the infection curve to flatten. Im calling it now and planning on a 3 month break. I will bike more, and scale back to 2-3 10km runs per week
  3. Less technical than Eden/Mont Marie. Make sure to include fish eagle - it is the best part imo. Perhaps do light blue and yellow first? Asara is a good starting point.
  4. I like the look of this squad. 2 spinners seems to work better in limited overs on everthing except grassy or bouncy deck. What a special ton by Malan, esp after a first ball duck on debut. Also, no Rabada - he is a superb bowler, but has been overplayed for a long time. He needs to be rested properly, and then have his workload managed.
  5. ☝️ nice! One of my favourite colour schemes. I used to lust after one like that with Spinergys back in the day ????
  6. I missed Nortje - he is the best of the new caps and looks set to go far.
  7. They have been without a specialist batting coach for a long time. Kallis is there, but part time, limited hour contract. They used to have a full time video analyst long ago, in addition to a batting coach. Perhaps what they have now is not enough to help so many with spin technique.
  8. I agree, Faf and Miller is not delivering. Miller has a problem agains some spinners (left handed spin?) Faf may be in his end-of-career slump (motivation lacking to get out of it) The big hitters they tried were Smuts and Van Biljoen, both not succesful with the bat, and Smuts' pace may be too medium for bowling at international level.
  9. What do they do next? AB to fix the batting collapses. Tahir to fix the bowling? Morris for all-rounder? Bavuma,QdK,vdDussen,AB,Faf,Miller,Morris,Rabada,Tahir,Ngidi,Shamsi Options: Steyn, Phutlekwaio I cant think of other batting options for the to order, other than the order they bat.
  10. My first thoughts were that the extra 2km could be Valley rd past World of Birds in Hout Bay, to avoid protestors. But this is a non-election year, so perhaps no protest.
  11. ☝️ at least we won something!
  12. Cango marathon: Great route, scenery and vibe. I suffer from wanderlust, and love races away from big cities. The route has a reputation for being fast, and it could be, but pacing over the first 8km, which is mostly uphill, needs to be right, and heat is an issue too.
  13. Great game, superb contest, some performances for both sides. Blommetjies stepped up bowling and fielding a lot. That said, I dont think they have selected the best combination. I would like Faf to open - he was great in the IPL, and gives us another big hitter in the piwerplay. Vd Dussen @ 3, 4=Miller 5=Bavuma, 6=Klaasen/v Biljoen, 7 probably Morris. 4 slots for bowlers, we have more options there. Tahir is our biggest loss, Shamsi has big shoes to fill. I would go Rabada, Ngidi, Nortje, if Rabada is rested enough. Steyn on the bench. For those big Aus grounds and drop in pitches they need another spinner for the WC, perhaps.
  14. 6S is smaller, weigh less and less battery life. It is a bit more expensive than the 6, but less than the X. 6X is larger and heaviet than the 6, has longer battery life etc. (Much larger than 6S)
  15. ☝️ Not serious, but I can't read anything typed in comic sans on my phone, so I dont use it. ???? If they can give it to Hamilton, they can give it to Kipchoge.
  16. Giving sportsman of the year to Kipchoge would be like giving it to an F1 driver, a sport where engineering is 90% of performance. O, wait...
  17. World Champ, 3d time
  18. Shoes: Max thickness 40mm One carbon plate They are not killing all shoe technology, but capping it.
  19. Imo they should try David Miller at 4 or 5. Imo he has more to offer, but he seems to be seen as an ODI & t20 finisher. What about Chris Morris? The rest of the world rates him highly as an allrounder, but not us.
  20. We dropped our best batsmen, Maharaj, too.
  21. ☝️ Momentum dropped the push-ups and sit-ups a yearor 2 ago. The did a skin fold test for fat measurement when I went last.
  22. He is a batting consultant. They asked Boucher in the post match interview why Kallis was not at the match in PE, to which he answered that they can only use him for a limited nr of hours. I think he would be a great batting coach. But if he is not available full time, get an additional full time batting assistant, who can work with the rest while Kallis works with the biggest problems.
  23. Du Plessis: " we knew the toss was going to play a roll" ... And sonething about the pitch assisting their spinners ???? Im not so sure about both these points. That last stand showed that the pitch was good for batting on day 5. Their spinners did not get a lot of turn, even on day 5 pithch. Im guessing the batsmen were not mentally up for anything else but batting first. Secondly, with so many rookies in the squad, not having a batting coach caused disaster. Markram has technical issues against spin, Hamza off his hips, vd Dussen vs spin.
  24. Boucher: " its not a technical issue" ???? I wonder what it was, then?
  25. They are making Root and Bess look like master spinners. VdDussen looked like a confused giraffe, playing different shots with with his feet and bat. Imagine if they were facing Ashwin and Jadeja ????
