  7. ok' date=' ok - i was talking cr@p - if you really concentrate you can go hard on the rollers. did a short session on saturday and found that i can get some decent wattage figures. i did however really start panicking when going at 50kph + - really requires a lot of concentration and it burns like hell! guys like 101% must be really brave for hanging on at 60km/h for over an hour - build good TT skills it would seem! doing 2x20's will be possible, but in my case rather dangerous. [/quote'] I had go at it last week with my new PT (thanks Bruce)!!!!! Riding 50km/h on a 53/12 I was averaging 290W, so now I've fitted a 53/11 . I reckon one could sit at 330W at a speed around 50km/h. Fun part about rollers is that you concentrating so much that you not aware of the time . An hour and a half flys by!!! So, you finally broke down and got an 11 - I can just see the pain on the faces of the guys trying to hold your wheel when you hit that 53x11. 330watts on rollers - that is cooking!! But I hear the world record is 164km/h at a cadence of 250+ The oke that road that speed must have been on some serious roids!!! or that wasn't a standard bike and rollers. at around 55km/h me and the rollers start vibrating on the floor , end up 1m away from where you started.
