  1. I stand to be corrected - passing the 6% credit card fee to the consumer is against the banking act. You can however offer a cash / eft discount.
  2. I have both, you can safly fall asleep on the A frame trainer. The rollers make you work a lot more.
  3. DIY no option. I race the bike, I only trust my own work. Most of the bike is simple, only FS bearings and shocks need expert attention. DIY is simple, if you get stuck Park Tools on the net are realy good.
  4. Ok 3 bikes, 26000 km @ R 8.12 per km. Time for a new groupset on my BMC
  5. If added all the costs together, my wife may catch wind = divorce.
  6. I have 4 bikes - all shimano. No chice in my mind XT and ultegra are the best value for money.
  7. Mine was new from a merida 3000, never ridder for R 3500. You can swop the teralogic between the manual lockout but the remote lock is unique. I currently ride 2 forks the reba with remote lock on my hardtail and a teralogic on my d/s. Could not picture myself taking my hand off the bar to lock the fork!
  8. True- conversion is not possible, sold mine as I needed the remote lockout option.
  9. Convert to what, from what?
  10. I don't even have 2cm of frame clearance!!
  11. Seat shape and fitment is more important than "hard or soft". I to ride a softer saddle on my hardtail and a firm saddle on my road bike and fs BUT all the seats I use have take a few months to select.
  12. I have fractured my 5th metatarsal (left foot), if you have been through such a fracture before please let me know how long I will be off the bike - even the stat trainer !!
  13. I have 2 sets, no issues to date. The wheels are strong and run smooth.
  14. Took mine off a year ago, never looked back. After 10 years with bar ends, I lost them too.
  15. Buy local and add the CRC goods on the Hub at low low prices.
  16. Hubbers, I stay in Hilton KZN and need a regular training partner. If you can finish the Hill2Hill in 5:30 and do a sub 3 hours amashove please PM me. Mtb on the weekend 3-4 hours per day and road during the week (3 sesions) from 4:30am to 6:30am..…
  17. I am an easton fan, rode 15000km on my curcit,s before upgrading to a set of ea90 slx,s. No problems at all with the curcuits, after a year (big km) on the easton ea90,s I have replaced the cassette, all the rear beaings and one snapped front spoke - all under warrenty by the importer. Love the wheels as they run true and smooth at a light weight.
  18. My last 94.7 was 2:48, I maxed at 190bpm and averaged 170bpm. At 36, I spent 50% of my race over 180bpm. To answer your question as to how long can you go, this depends on your body and training regime.
  19. Hands down, Pietermaritzburg is SA`s cycling Meca.

  21. Good luck, I have broken my ankle twice since Feb 2010....
  22. You have 1 choice, box them and send to Russel at OMNICO. Russel is the best with these wheels, he was trained by Easton and works majic. OMNICO have a swift turnaround time but are closed now for the holidays.
