  1. I'll make this a rant so it will be relevant on this forum Why has nobody replied to my wanted ad? Somebody out there must have a bike like this they want to sell https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/7930-medium-mtb-with-slx/
  2. I think you may be confused though, there are coils on each spark plug and the car does have hydraulic valve lifters
  3. I think you may be confused though, there are coils on each spark plug and the car does have hydraulic valve lifters Sorry - replied to wrong post
  4. They screwed you. Please don't tell me they also replaced your exhaust bearing
  5. Sorry, my bad. It is from the Energy Regulation board Makes for interesting reading though http://www.erb.org.zm/press/publications/brochures/Phase%20Out%20Of%20Leaded%20Petrol.pdf
  6. I got the info out of some government release/info about the phasing out of leaded petrol. It is also a fact that the lead deposits on the valve seats act as a lubricant and stop the valves from welding themselves to the valve seats. If you have steel valve seats as my car does then you don't need LRP. If you have iron valve seats then you need LRP. I would assume all cars with aluminium heads have steel (removable) valve seats and cars with cast iron heads have the valve seat faces machined directly into them
  7. Sorry dude. But do you know anything about engines. WTF is a coil for a hydrolic valve? And what would it have to do with leaded or unleaded fuel?
  8. Yes, you can run any leaded car like that. There is no immediate damage from using unleaded, as I posted earlier, you can drive over 10000km on unleaded because of the lead deposits on the valve seats
  9. I don't know why they would carry LRP petrol. You can safetly run a leaded car on unleaded fuel for over 10000km because of the lead deposits that have formed on the valve seats
  10. Leaded petrol in even small quantities will cause almost immediate failure of the cat. Often the petrol is used unknowingly when the spare can from the garage, normally reserved for the lawn mower, is innocently used, Even such a small quantity can be fatal. Not sure if LRP would do as stated above because from the name I would think it has no lead
  11. Good point. Evans don't have it on their site, I have mailed them. Their prices are good but you need over R5K for free shipping.
  12. Just VAT on the bike rack I think. I wouldn't mind bringing in a Thule Euroway G2 923 These prices look good. Anyone know what they cost here? Maybe we can get a better deal on shipping if we order a couple http://www.veclo.com/en/Fietsdrager-Thule-Euroway-G2-923-3-fietsen-001-44274/?gclid=COX0xcvWiKoCFcIkpAodYQnezw http://www.skidrive.co.uk/cycle/product_detail.php?partno=923000&gclid=CJPqxc7WiKoCFUolpQod8mGtzg

  15. Giro Prolight - 173g and confirmed by my scale
  16. People who are not in the know often only remember the total price they paid for their entry level bike at Cajees, they forget that was including helmet, shoes, shorts, pump etc and try to recover that total price when they sell.
  17. Zyrtec is good. I am on the generic - Texa
  18. No quick or master link in my chain - hence the black marker
  19. So how do you know where to stop?
  20. I use a different product but I do use the drop by drop method, it is really quick and painless to do. I just mark a link with a black marker so I don't repeat on any links.
  21. Also waiting for Superseeding, they take so long to update
  22. Last Saturday was really cold, my fingers where a bit numb in the Black Diamonds but a lot warmer than they would have been in my LG
  23. R10K
  24. Ventura is good value for money, it is the one I would have gone for but there was no stock at the time so I took the Spectra.
