    it's a mtb race. back to Wolvefontein too....Kevin does all the mtb stuff from Living Colour (trailhead+restaurant) and in the area. For 2025, we’re taking DBX back to its roots!     back ended, 4 tough stages where plenty of cracking can happen. this is the rough numbers, of the 21 stages, the four toughest are in final week. stage 16 - 203km/4737metres vert alt - mountain top finish 17 - 155/3813 - back loaded 18 - 144/1669 - flatish finish, breakaway day 19 - 166/4908, sort of climbing at end 20- 205/4399, mountain top finish 21 - 143/1603 rome gallop

    I really love the way 1x removed components from a mtb yet doubled the cost. 2x10 works just fine at a fraction of the cost

    I was driving past and saw the flags so pulled in. Corsa bibs for R950 with no discernable issues, I'll take 2! If you want to go to a braai and pretend to impress people that you have done the Cape Epic or Sani2C, then for R50 you can get decent event tshirts. queue was round the block and it was packed inside. people were clearing stuff out.

    What was the actual chain wear? You might have worn the cassette out too, and are doing the same to your new chain and will be at the same point. You can use a chain checker, but an inch tape measure is WAY more accurate! 11 to 13-speed chains should be replaced at 0.5 per cent on a chain checker. The chain and cassette should be replaced if it has stretched to 0.75 per cent.

    ja. the link to instagram is not from this thread, and the FB got taken down. Either way, I only saw it for the first time now. It's the usual 2% giving the other 98% a bad name. this guy will be a tjop behind the wheel of a car too, hope he got named, shamed and treated like he deserves.

    360km in under 13 hours is 28km/h. Not many people can ride a bike offroad for 28km in a single hour! The best bike will normally be the one you can be comfortable on for that extended period of time.

    new facebook account from a guy called Eddie Schmekter joins the FB scam group. gets called out for being Taun, and account basically does best to claim ignorance. new post warning people that the webstore is run by Taun. Eddie surprisingly has a lot of detailed info to dispute the claim. Just putting this here, I suppose my question is. has anyone ordered anything from here and been successful?

    Direct experience with this sort of thing, was lucky to move quickly and the money hadn;t cleared yet. The best thing is to tell older people that all they must assume all their info is available online to scammers, their personal data can be bought in a massive leak. If someone knows your ID number and address and anything else it means absolutely nothing. Get them to give you a phone number to call back on. I'm expecting AI and robocallers to get incredibly efficient at throwing out millions of lines to catch their bait.

If they sell them- they should work. The wheels I am looking at are shimano mt15 (26")
