Its awesomeness personified. If there is any issue, it is with is the accuracy of the power broadcast measurement, which is supposed to be within 5%, but it is said that it is not. There is much discussion on this on d c rainmaker's review. It does not bother me whether it is accurate, because it is consistent. Ie - you can track your improvement. Or deteriation [emoji35] The machine is very sturdy, and facilitates great stability even when standing, and it's quiet. It is a breeze to set up, and it has joint ant + and Bluetooth capability. This is a big plus. I have had my unit since January and have made good use out of it. I have a dedicated bike setup on the SNAP, but there no real need. It works well with an ordinary road tire, and clicking the bike in and out of the unit is a breeze.takes a second or 2. I previously had a tacx, which i loved. But, the SNAP is easy, seamless, strong, reliable and works with multiple platforms.

Just started it. So far makes for fascinating reading. It does not exactly cover the Sunday Times in glory. Another book I just finished is Samantha Cowen's "From whiskey to water". It took huge guts to write that story, and I found it inspirational. Really enjoyed it.

Yes, but next year will be a different story. By 31 Jan 2017 you will have accumulated a maximum of 4500 fitness points (assuming you ride on 29, 30 and 31 Jan.) I think a lot of people will move on to endurance next year. I guess the only way to max out next year will be through races.

Its not like the over subscription can be too big an issue, when about 10k people register, but don't rock up on the big day. Anyway, I've Registered, paid, booked an orange bird, and accom. To do. Book car, book bike transport, train & lose weight. Wish the last 2 were as easy as the first 2.

Puleeze. Complaining about the entry fee, is as much a part of the overall Argus experience, as is huffing and puffing it up Suikerbossie. The need to bitch is visceral, and it won't be denied -already the complaints have already moved on to the application process, and soon they will escalate to the invitation / selection process. My personal favourites are the complaints on the expo , and that ultimate pearler, the woeful goodie bag. I say bring it on, vent your spleen, and enjoy. But, nobody gives a ****

Can you toggle between ordinary and endurance? Ie. Go on to endurance at the beginning of the year, max out your 30k fitness points, and then move back to ordinary?
