Mich, don't worry. i seriously started cycling last year july. also struggled to do more than 40km at a time. lucky for me i had some very nice people (wolverine and co.)helping me out with advice and lllloooootsss of encourgement. i also started spinning during the week and did whatever i could over weekends. i did my first 100km race (bakwena) a week before the 94.7 last year. was able to finish the 94.7 in under 4hrs. now i have met a lot of other hubbers continuously helping me out with advice, tips and encouragement. and the friendships that came with it was added bonus. so, before you know it, you'll be doing your first 100km race and then go from strength to strength.
