  1. I would just like to mention great service received from Cyclelab Centurion. I was looking for a couple of odds and ends and in stead of shrugging their shoulders the staff sorted me quickly. I got great service and wasn't spending much. Keep up the good work guys!
  2. That, my friend, is what it is all about! (When you enjoy it too much, you're doing it wrong!)
  3. +1 for the ribs, specially at the bottom of the rib cage.
  4. Yes - TT is an "unnatural position", merely because you are not used to it. Your neck works a lot harder and your are extending the muscles between your shoulder blades. You should expect stiffness in the neck and between the shoulder blades after your first couple of rides (and when you start doing long distances in the TT position). Remember: you are in the TT position, not for comfort, but for speed
  5. I did, was very well organized. A flat bike course made for some fast going.
  6. I use cheap baby bum cream, but you'll have to use fissan or some proper "skin repair" cream to get you skin on par, first.
  7. Works for me as well! If I'm really broken after a hard session this is my mix: 1 banana 1 cup milk 1 heaped table spoon cocoa 1 half cup oats 1 scoop carb/protein mix blend & enjoy!
  8. And that skateboard helmet with the TT visor. Shows you how much they know...
  9. I clean mine after every swim with fresh water and air dry (in the shade) - as per instruction. After a year discoloration set - it has a bit of a green tinge in the rubber. I checked the web and could find nothing about how to get rid of it. So I guess that's part of the deal...
  10. Go Caveman!
  11. Yep, Inov-8 is great, I have 4 pairs! But go to Running Inn, have your analysis done for free and get the right shoe for you.
  12. That can for you or against you - pick wisely
  13. I normally just chuck whatever I can find in a bag in the morning before I leave. If there are leftovers I take it, but normally I finish the leftovers about and hour or 2 after supper
  14. Only have 1 big portion of meat a day - normally supper and normally chicken. Meat can kill you
  15. Todays snacks before lunch: 1 x banana 1 x apple 1 x carrot 1 x naartjie Lunch : 4 slices bread with tomato, pink salt & balsamic Midafternoon snack : raisins.
  16. Just some feedback: The nose clips did the trick. Not the most saxy piece of equipment, but it does the job...
  17. Rollers are the only way to go, if you're looking at a IDT. Helps a lot with your riding efficiency and HTFU. As for : Sluiper, I would suggest you stop less while riding on the road
  18. nice aggressive saddle for a laaitie!
  19. Adidas also has the insert option.
  20. If it's good enough for the TdF & Epic contenders, it's good enough for you Haven't ridden a foil yet but it was designed using a wind tunnel...
  21. Sat - Solo TT & watch rugby (red wine) Sun - Swim at gym & watch olympics (white wine)
  22. So what are the alternatives to those damn expensive chamois creams? (The trolls are going to have fun here!)
