  1. Is there not a sectrion which says rate the member as a "Seller" or a "Buyer". I think there is but it is harly ever used used. I have made 100's of purchases on the Hub and only rated 5 times. I must be a *** buyer.
  2. Ride left and pass right I say. If you cannot ride on the left then tough luck on the guy who still wants to pass right. I would have moved left to allow the faster rider to pass on my right under the circumstances. It appears the left side was ok to ride. IMHO. (Unless of course you are going for podium)Rather play safe as it could have been you in the dirt and by the sounds of it, this guy would not have stopped. Shot on you stopping.
  3. Just sent 3.47 kg to Taiwan ordinary post SAPO at R479.00. Goods have a tracking number and were received within 14 days. Courier charges ranged from R4000.00 (our company preferred company!!) to R2 200.00. Tried to get other quotes from all the companies and I am still waiting. To much work for them to handle so they charge what they like. Who said business was tight in SA?
  4. Why only have red lights at the back? I have three red (flea, laser and cateye)with a white flashing flea, The best single rear light IMO is the Magcshine rear light but this on its own is not enough. No light on its own is enough and there is NEVER enough
  5. Those prices are seriously expensive. Unacceptably expensive, Will certainly not attend if this is what it costs.
  6. Must give this some serious consideration one prices and dates are available. Need to do the extended course.
  7. Hi Uni, Don't know what my fork pressure is but I pump it up, get on the bike in a doorway and then get off. My shock must go down 20-25% and then it is ok for me. After that I start fiddling with the rabbit/tortoise thingy at the bottom. Guess this does not help much but this is the way I do it.
  8. 800 works fine for me too.
  9. This Benzine thing. It is Highly, highly carcinogenic. Don't ever use the stuff for anything!!!!
  10. Need to contact you to send goods internationally.
  11. Ja, but you are FAST (and young)!!! Going to give up this riding to work thing. The M19 slays me every time. Was looking for an excuse to pack this crazy addiction in. Robbers x 1, Commuters x 0.
  12. My back yard. I ride this often in the early morning (dark) and in the evening alone and in the dark. There goes my commute!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5 guys...no chance up a hill like that with plenty bush to hide. I am now dictated to by these robbers. Not cool. Thinking about this.....I have no idea about another route to town. M13 it a definite no-no. Hey, I am gutted!
  13. Have just heard a cyclist was also relieved of his MTB on the M19 here in Durban yesterday. Guy was beaten but ok. Cannot find more info in this regard.
  14. There, tried to fix it.
  15. Thanks for all the great advice. Will turn one in alu at work. Best to play safe and it will be the whole length. Thanks guys.
  16. Agreed.
  17. Yip, it is a 25.4. I did try the cutting up of a post but still too thin. Best I have one machined from nylon as PeterF suggested. But thanks for the reply guys, appreciate it.
  18. My GF wants me to fit a 25,4 "spring" seat post into a 31.6 seat tube. The shims I have are too small and I have run out of beer to build up using the tin. Any ideas as to how I can make up this 6.2 huge difference? Fitting it to an Alu GT hard tail frame.( And I am not going to buy her a DS) How safe would it be with this? Not too happy about it myself. Any advice would be appreciated.
  19. 100%. As The Man says. Don't save the job for a rainy day. Sun helps big time. Doing the conversion at night???????
  20. Shot Dirt. I would/will personally buy you a beer for what you have done.
  21. Dettol multi surface cream, 4 in 1.
  22. Had a very dirty chain and ran out of cleaning stuff. Looked around and saw the toilet cleaning liquid. Put chain in a tin, diluted the cleaner with hot water, shook it around a bit, rinsed properly and dried with a rag = one shiny clean chain. It's a pleasure..............
  23. Seriously, if that is the whole Bill pay it smiling! Looks darn cheap to me. Your injury was terrible. (My bill adds up to R60 000.00 for a "broken leg")
  24. Thanks but no ways I am paying R750 for a bell! Even if it does have a light.
