  1. North Wave most comfy shoes on the market.
  2. Thanks Johan. I have worked enough on Clayson Harvestors in my younger days to know how to replace a bearing. Seeing that I can get them from Bearing Man and not Ksyrium I will do this myself.
  3. Question is how long will they last? This set is on its first set of tyres and already giving trouble. I dont want to spend money on a set of wheels and they let me down and have to spend money on continiously. TryBoy2008-09-29 10:39:54
  4. I've got a set of Ksyriums ES spcial edition's. Those red and black ones. Thebearings on the front wheel gave in and it seems that the back wheel is not too far behind. Question is should I fix them or not? No spoke problems yet.
  5. The guys who do the Induna near Hazyview. They have awesome routes out there. It is also close to Sabi. Nice area close to Kruger.
  6. I use them on the road an absolutely believe in them. I am also more of a diesel when it comes to uphills and dont spin up the hills. I will put them on my mtb as well. IvanB do you have stock of the mtb rings?

    Spinervals

I have quite a few of them and really enjoy them. The Carmichael dvd is also available but I prefer good old Troy.
  8. And the Pro bar ends! For that kind of money I would have expected better.
  9. Now I dont know if this is going to make you feel better but it is not a record. A friend of mine had his new Astra Stationwagon (must be Astra thing) written off when they took it to deliver it to him. A fire engine took the whole nose off. 12km on the clock! It took them all of 48 hours to find him a new one after he waited 3 months for delivery.
  10. QUOTE] Thats is awesome TryBoy...........just confused! if you can cycle, why do you need to run or play golf? Yes I know. Golf is more a work thing and the running is because I want to get back into triathlon. I think there is a few more Ironmans in me.
  11. Me and I also prefer the Garmin.
  12. I had a nasty acident in which I hurt my back. Kept going for a few years but in the end I was taking to many Myprodols and they were not really helping anymore. I could not stand for long, run or walk far. Went to see a 'specialist' that suggested a fussion of L5-S1. Luckily I went to see dr Hanhle at Linksfield. (his partner is dr Weinberg who do necks). Long story short, in March I had a artificial disc replacement. Today I can do anything I could ever do. I haventhad back pain in 3 months, nothing at all. I run, play golf, cycle. The moral of the story is to get all the opinions before taking such a huge decision.
  13. Good news! I will be your first 27.2 customer.
  14. It seems nobody makes a 27.2mm model as I will need on my Ellsworth. The Joplin is available in SA distributer is shamus@bicicletta.co.za www.bicicletta.co.za
  15. Yes OK I should have asked for more. Has anybody tried the Joplin? If 'Yes' what did you think of it?
  16. These can be adjusted on the fly by about 75mm.
  17. Has anybody tried the Joplin? They are available in SA.
  18. Had the dual control on my Specialized and now Gripshifts on my Elsworth. I will never ride anything else again. They are durable and shifts accurately everytime.
  19. I've got a I-Magic and a friend has got the Fortius. The simulation on climbs is more or less the same. The Fortius is much more realistic though. If you want to use it for power training I suggest the Fortius as it is much more accurate. I would pay the premium for the Fortius.
  20. 1. Sani2C 2. Sabi Experience 3. Panorama 4. Amashova
  21. Does anybody have experience with the height adjustable seatposts like the Joplin? The idea seems very good. Where do you get them and are there alternatives? Remote adjustment or lever under the saddle?
  22. I've got a flat close to Hyde Park.
  23. Thank. Will give this a go for sure.
  24. I am going to be in London for a month. During the week I will go to gym and run.I would really like to cycle over the weekends though. Any ideas on where to go, where to rent bikes etc? Road or MTB.
  25. Probably never take those shoes off. NW must be the most comfy shoes I ever had.
