  1. +1 for the RC, mine is going on 12 years now with no issues
  2. I planned to ride the route this weekend after a couple of years not. Is the crossing at the train tracks clear?
  3. Apologies, saw the Cape Town danger areas thread and posted there.
  4. Does anyone have a square tapered crankset, with removable chainrings on the drive side and not rivetted? Thanks
  5. Maybe a carbon fork, the rest of the bike seems Aluminum. Over priced in my opinion
  6. Good start for me. Now for consistency, the superpower available to all of us.
  7. In again as well, need to deliver on the promise this year ...
  8. Sad indeed, training was on track for a change
  9. John at Bespoke Cycleworx in the middle of Durbanville. Does the work himslef, does what he says he will do and sticks to committed dates.
  10. Had excellent online service from Evobikes earlier in level 4 and just as excellent in store service from Giant Durbanville as well as Bespoke Cycleworx.
  11. From some of your posts it’s clear that you are a clever person, if you try to be less condescending other people might listen to what you have to say.
  12. Absolute bargain. Imo 3-5% increases in the early years was beyond generous that in al likelihood caught up to them. The trail distance increase would have resulted in headcount and opex increases way beyond 5%. I am also willing to bet that none of the elves would have accepted that level of pay increase as well.
  13. Anthem, seems I am build like you and had three over the last nine years. Only had a frame crack, on a 2010 model. Had shimano XT on all of them with no issues. If you go Stans wheelset I would not recommend anything less than the Flow
  14. Imo I live in a responsible way, I only have 2 children and my consumption of meat did not increase (actually decreased a bit to keep the dad bod from transitioning into beached whale status). Thus, little contribution to the cause nor the effect
  15. I would expect that with conservation there would be a good measure of control and intelligence in the mix that takes herd sizes, inbreeding, head per hectare etc into account. Further, the marksmanship, caliber etc etc would be on par for the task on hand. Control on consumption of alcoholic drinks
  16. Hunting - Yes Hunting imo - tracking your prey for 6hrs and taking the shot downwind from 200m plus, taking your kill home for the pot or biltong, then having a beer as a toast. Shooting - No Shooting imo - killing a blesbok from 50 meters away with a elephant gun on the back of a bakkie on the midday break from lounging under the lapa while your bud holds your branna
  17. Thanks Wannabe, hope all comes together during the ride
