  1. I would use the Hub logo quite large (without the text) as a design element on the lower back.
  2. Cool. I could assist with a design too. I got the AI including flag when we redid the decals on the wife's Pascoe.
  3. I think it's a rad idea but you should check with the owners of the Pyga brand before attempting anything like that. I'm not so sure about combining it with the Hub brand either... Unless done in a unobtrusive way (possibly the logo without the text)?
  4. Tyres: WTB Vigilantes
  5. Mine is in post #1067My wife's in #1079
  6. I would never ride another guys bike for its first ride. Oh and Jason 'Jayhound' Geldenhuys is the bike builder extraordinaire.
  7. Haha, it's been a looooong weekend. 4am rise on Sunday to get Amy to the start line... Some important bits are still to be sourced.
  8. I can put it on my couch but it's currently still boxed as it only arrived at 21:30 last night.
  9. Dude, when it arrived in a "Specialized" Tarmac Elite bike box I nearly threw it out.
  10. As promised... the only silver Pascoe in SA http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/IMG-20141011-WA0016_zpsslzrszho.jpg Thfc, those rims gonna look sweet.
  11. Just got the wife's Pascoe frame with a wet silver paint job. Will post pics later...
  12. I'm enjoying the Vigilantes front and rear even though I can't push them anywhere near their limits due to taking it easy on my forearm. They will make even more sense once the rains hit.
  13. Again, for Gautengers - Hakahana!! Watch this space... Nice post by the way.
  14. Patchelicious, welcome to the Spruit broken bones club. Glad you are healing up quickly.
  15. Say whaaaaat?

  17. I was looking at you diagram and it helps that the entry is higher. So going up 1.5m vertical over 5m of ramp should be doable by most.
  18. If you want most skill levels to be able to ride it then entry and departure angles of 30 degrees or less.
  19. Just a question. Don't most companies cover themselves with E&OE (errors and omissions exempted)?
  20. When I was still a kid back in the 80s, was shopping at Hyperama with my mom. We picked up a few garden tools, none of which had prices on. When we enquired at the till the manager ran around for a bit to try and find a price. Eventually came back to us and said that those were the last stock of end of range items which had been deleted from the 'system' and that he would ring them up for a grand total of R 0.00
  21. You don't need that many go faster goodies when you have that much red
  22. The answer is momentum. Takes more energy to accelerate thus more energy to stop. However, that is not going to affect the OPs problem with brakes not biting.
  23. See how it melted the snow.
  24. Jason Geldenhuys at Int. Trade They are the agents for some of the best hubs and rims so you get your wheels at a reasonable price.
  25. You haven't read the entire thread have you? Apparently the contamination wasn't from the pharmacists hands but from the pill tray. They don't handle the gel capsules by hand as they tend to melt. Have you ever seen how much white residue from previously counted pills stays almost permanently on those pill trays?
