  1. I get what you are saying. Generally, when a Pyga buyer comes into the shop they know what wheel size they want. So, it's quite easy to either point them to the 110 or differentiate between the two smaller wheeled options: depending if they want an allrounder trail bike or a slacker Enduro rig. But the Pascoe buyers usually know they want 140mm travel. The 160 buyers will also have made up their minds long before I chat to them (although I dont think there won't be that many of them). The 95 will sell to your marathon riders who want something different (with better geo) in a sea of Epics and Anthems and the Trail version will be aimed at the guy or gal who wants a very special allrounder and has the extra budget. But ultimately, the bikes sell themselves - all I do is let people ride the demos...
  2. Lets look at rear travel and see if there will be too much overlap: - 650B Ally models 120 140 160 - 29er Ally models 110 - 29er Carbon models 95 130 maybe...
  3. Hopefully will get some of the IXS Xult in the shop if the agents bring them in.
  4. From what I remember in my discussionswith them, the Stage MX is the new name for the 95. There will be a more trail friendly version with more rear travel which might be called the Stage MX Trail...
  5. Yep Hence the Hub username. Edit: it's titanium
  6. @Slickf1art
  7. Got a Mio Fuse for myself a few weeks ago. Loving it's ease of use. It's difficult to sell something you don't have in stock and don't know how to use yourself... that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
  8. Especially if you have chubby cheeks
  9. I meant the 110. No XLs in the country yet.
  10. The frame in question was already sent by Hilton yesterday and should be here today or tomorrow. That's excellent service.
  11. Nobody has AFAIK. Can't even get the XLs here yet.
  12. Yebo, Nico in second and RMB Change A Life John in third. The wife is so proud of her Zulu
  13. I'm sorting this one out for Mr DTs while he rides our new 110 demo.
  14. Having ridden both, I find that the Onza Ibex doesn't have quite as much grip as the Bronson. Rubber feels like a harder compound. Both still awesome tyres though. Have you got the dual ply WTBs? At least on the rear...
  15. Limited edition Spike. Agents haven't got stock so guess there aren't anymore. Only a couple of the Vibrocore Spikes like mine: http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/20150420_154346_zpsegdp28yk.jpg But there are other Spank bars in the range... http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/20150420_155851_zps8tblrgmj.jpg Also have one or two normal Spikes in various colours http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/20150420_162004_zps4yfyqnpf.jpg
  16. Donna at the shop painted the blue Pike.
  17. http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/20150420_145602_zpsit8filu9.jpg Yeah sure. That belongs to Jason, partner at the Trailhead. http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/20150420_145620_zpswchf7u1f.jpg
  18. I believe the Stage and the 160 will only be available at the end of the year. As for me the 160 is where it's at. For now we just have to make do with these: http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/20150420_135646_zpskgktrzfq.jpg http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/20150420_142210_zpswm05p3hf.jpg http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/20150420_142138_zpstxzbh4fn.jpg
  19. For me personal choice as my SS is a fun playbike with long travel fork, slack head angle and dropper post.
  20. If anyone wants to test ride one of these babies (110, 120, 140) in Gauteng, the Trailhead has a few demos for that purpose. And the shop is right on the trail - so you just hand your ID/drivers and car keys, change into you kit and hit the trails. The revised Delta treeline downhill - only 3kms away - is perfect Pyga country, like a small taste of Karkloof, full of berms rollers and jumps Just a warning though: Last week I accompanied two guys on test rides in the Delta and both ordered Pygas
  21. With the yellow decals on the Pyga Trailwide rims. I couldn't stop ogling it.
  22. Not really. You can just about buy a whole wheelset with Pyga hubs for the price of a single enve rim. And building them up, they can take waaaaaay more tension than the envies. Like double...
  23. I got to have a couple of short rides on these babies at Karkloof CC last weekend during the Trail Daze - which was a brilliant weekend. Unfortunately the new bikes were set up for riders bit shorter and lighter than myself. Still that Stage is going to sell well at our shop but my next bike is the 160. The carbon Trailwide rims are excellent - will be my next purchase for the Pascoe...
  24. Sounds like you want a Pyga
