  1. If you silly enough to pay to ride the Epic don't complain about anything price related, you've given up that right. If you getting sponsored let them pick up your maintenance bill.
  2. You are to big for cycling, go play rugby.
  3. Eish, was a lekka race my only complaint is my chip not register when I crossed the mat at the finish. Do you guys know if they have a backup system in place, I know Great time records the finish just in case the miss someone and I'm pretty sure Racetec does the same? I also start in B, think I finished 2nd but could not see on my right if someone else was in front of me.

I didn't realize 10 of you got a way, thought it was just you and Craig stupid enough to try and pull a stunt like that. I'm 10th in the C-D bunch and about 5 guys finished before in from the main bunch so you guys must've lost 5 guys Velouria? anyways, you guys are clearly in a league of your own, respect!

freakin hell it was hard, started in the C-D bunch and managed to finish with them, the last 50km heading out Malmesbury was freakin hard, lots of surges... thought it was going to be a easy day in the saddle, certainly got more than I was expecting.

I started in L last year and did I think around 4h48 mins with 2 x 750ml bottles, I recon starting in C-D bunch we'll go a little faster and finish in about the same time. No need for extra water of water tables.

  15. Nah, I'm sorted, I posted my question on PPA's fb page and got answers within minutes, they should fire the one handling emails. Either way, hope my number is at Sportsman's Warehouse Thursday afternoon when we go register for the 1tonner...

  18. Google says: Until you receive your VAT registration number you must not charge VAT, or show VAT as a separate item on your invoices. To make sure that you do not lose income in the period after you applied for VAT registration but before you receive your VAT registration number, you should increase your prices by the VAT rate relevant for your goods or services, and explain to your customers why you are doing so. Once you are registered, you can then reissue those invoices, amended to show your VAT registration number and the VAT charged. This will ensure that your VAT-registered customers can reclaim the VAT that they have paid. Lots of businesses get this wrong although mostly it doesn't matter as long as you re-issue the invoice asap with the VAT no. on it. The main problem comes when a business doesn't make allowance for the VAT from the date they applied to be registered. Then they either have to invoice again adding the VAT and ask the customer nicely if they will pay the VAT, or the total invoice will assumed to include VAT and you pay it out of your own pocket.
  19. i don't know, will that mounting on the handlebar survive on a mtb? It's very cute, like a modern day R2D2
  20. I don't know why you keep in comparing it to the Trans Karoo event (247km), it's not the same distance(162km), you should compare it to the other 100 miler event, the one that cost R500 odd less. Just because you've been fooled into paying to much don't try and get the rest of us on board with the idea.
