  1. Geez! that guy has huge Kahonees!
  2. I rode Slant 6 front and rear on the wines2 whales last year. Had no grip issues at all in loose sand, technical singletrack or jeeptrack. Rolls well too. Haven't ridden them long enough to comment on wear though. I liked them
  3. Hi, I rode the Silverback full sus 29er in the Wines2whales last year and loved it. A really comfortable ride. I was never really a Silverback fan in the past but will now definitely consider buying one.
  4. Fizik Gobi for me, won't have anything else on my MTB.
  5. Couldn't agree with you more.
  6. Saw this on the Tokai Trails yesterday Well done PoS! Keep it going...
  7. That's just plain nasty! lucky he got away relatively unscathed!
  8. 1. Yes 2. 3 - 4 times per week 3. Yup 4. Nope 5. In the words of our President - Absolutely! 6. More dedicated cycle paths in the suburbs.
  9. WOW! Now there's a blast from the past. A mate of mine had one and jeez that thing simply did not peddle up hill, but once going down there was just no stopping it. Got my first concussion flying over the bars when landing a 5 ft (or so it seemed, I was much smaller back then) dropoff. Good times jumping everything in the neighborhood.
  10. Was also up there this evening. Little bit of water lying around but otherwise it's looking great.
  11. Sorry PoS, can't make saturday Will make a plan for next weekend tho
  12. I went from an Olympic to a Specialized BG MTB shoe. Best decision I made and have no regrets.
  13. Yebo yes!!
  14. O! So that's what really happened!
  15. I agree that the Thule works well! I've bolted a spare tow bar ball to my workbench and use the rack as a work stand, when not on the back of my car.
  16. I've got a Gary Fisher Tassajara that I've had since 1995. Until about 2006 it was my only bike and so was riden often and always off road. Over the years I've replaced the RD, chain and cluster a couple of times. Other than those "wear and tear" replacements, everything else is the original. It's now my backup bike but still gets to see the trails from time to time.
  17. Glad I'm not the only one looking over my shoulder for this phantom rider who keeps talking to me Great app tho.
  18. Nice pics DJR! although training during the week is just plain sneeky In keeping with the bike-in-the -foreground theme, this was taken at the Mast 2 Saturday's ago.
  19. So nice to hear of good service.
  20. Not quite - see you there.
  21. Driver of the hit and run vehicle found and arrested. No further info.
