I've just bought an oldish Trek with Ultegra/105 mix components, rolf vector wheels and in "well used" but good condition. Runs super smoothly and i'm very happy with it. Paid a little over R3K.

Although that water was super smooth and glassy, it was also damn cold! Only the kids were brave enough to venture in.

R150 for a wash and lube after Sani. Bike shop checked all bearings, seals, drive chain etc. all good to go for a while yet. In fact the bike is so clean I don't want to ride it, just looking at it makes me smile.

Bumpity Bump

Found a cycling computer/GPS in Tokai on Sunday 2 nd December. If it is yours and you can correctly identify it, you're welcome to come and collect it.

Noticed when cycling past backed up traffic in a roadworks stop/go where the wait is approx 15 minutes, that most cars are idling! Why not turn off the engine when you have to wait this long? Saves fuel, carbon emissions etc etc. If you really need the aircon at 7am, open your window.

Good thinking, go with the Trance.
