  1. If on the same time, count back determines position by adding the sum of finishing positions on all stages. At the moment Daryl is 41 and Gerrans 32 Daryl - 11+8+22 = 41 Gerrans - 15+16+1 = 32
  2. Guess its down to just how ossie the ossie team want to be... All things being equal, Daryl is last man in the lead out for Goss on the flat stages so he should come in before Gerrans, but I guess they might just swap the order around to keep yellow on the Ossie's back... (really hope not though...)
  3. This
  4. ja he seriously needs to retire while he still retains a shred of dignity.time for new blood
  5. Cav won't help you much - pretty much EVERYONE has him, sagan, froome and 'berto... Your other 5 riders will determine your destiny.... Just looking at all the prizes again - really top job by Gerldm24, Admin and Hub faithfuls ASG and capcha Edit - and Evobikes of course!
  6. Nice article on how far he has come http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2013/jun/22/chris-froome-tour-de-france I like this description by Gareth Edwards of the Froome of 7 yrs ago: Edwards, instead, recalls Froome as "a fluffy creature who drove to races in his wreck of a car. He had long, straggly hair and wore more bangles than a girl. Chris was fluent in Swahili and he dressed in clothing, made from hemp, in the colours of the Swahili people. He did not look like a future Tour de France winner."
  7. Really, tell us more about these bilharzia drugs he is taking that "increase his red blood cells". Exactly what drugs are they...?
  8. Cool.. I just would have thought having gone to all that trouble they would have gotten his placing in the olympics right...
  9. He must be one of the "poefters" Cav was talking about.... Huge respect for Geraint and Tony Martin. Tough (and motivated)
  10. jeez I hear you. And throw in getting to see your kids before they go to bed in the evenings. At the moment training and tdf are taking a backseat to work and family, and fat and unfit has already happened... The solution I have decided on but not yet implemented is to pull my trainer out of retirement - and will kill 2 birds with one stone in the evenings and catch up on last couple of hours of the day's tour while doing some base work on the trainer...
  11. Movistar Sky Garmin in that order. Geraint Thomas injury will hurt sky just a little otherwise I would have had them as a 50/50 for the win.
  12. Sagan would be my favorite for this one... But, could this be the kind of stage for Impey to spring a surprise...? Side note - he came 11th today... so if he finishes in front of the 10 guys who beat him today, he could just take yellow....
  13. Poor guy! Sounds like organisers waived him through...
  14. Apparently fainted twice at the finish... Will be surprised if he starts tomorrow - will make TT's wide open....
  15. might be tough call for him to win...
  16. ASG while you guys are in the giving mood, how about throwing something in the pot for the Hub's fantasy comp... https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/127379-2013-thehubsa-tdf-fantasy-competition/
  17. true.. by all accounts those corsica roads are narrow and surface a little dodgy... could get hairy on the run in to the finish.
  18. Kind of what i was thinking! For S's and G's I'll throw in: Aleksander Kristoff - Katusha
  19. Yup - the software doesn't cater for it - its nothing you or her are doing wrong! Frustrating though - only software I have found that handles swim files well (esp pool laps) is connect (which can be a pain and has VERY s l o w days... and Sportstrack. You can also pull the basic data int endomondo but it loses all the detail (just get distance and time)
  20. "I think in the last four years now it’s over 200% that we’ve racked up the entry fee" "The price is absolutely irrelevant at the moment; it’s so desirable that they want to be doing to race." wow - might be true but not so sure its great PR!~

    Cricket......

A bit late in here, but this is good. so its taken more than a decade but we have been through: - Shock - Disbelief - Denial - Guilt - Anger - Depression Now finally we have entered the final stage: - Acceptance and Hope
  22. Ja maybe in the cold scottish highlands it takes 2 yrs (though i doubt it), in the afrcian veld - a couple of weeks. banana peels do no harm wither way - plastic wrappers in the pocket, banana peels back to the earth. Its the bloody cirle of life for goodness sake.
  23. In the beginning there was the word.
  24. Wrt the bike pure thing, note that Froome has shared his power files in the past... Here is his TT form teh 2011 Vuelta http://www.chris-froome.com/news/7-froome-trainingpeaks-analysis Most amazing thing for me there - his HR averaged just 147bpm (at avg of 406w)! Biggest muscle froome relies on is that industrial pump located under his ribcage...
  25. Which is why no Robbie Hunter as expected... pity. Hoping Daryl Impy can maybe spring a suprise on one of the lumpy stages this year though...
