I have to agree confinement sucks. I really would love to go for a ride. I need it. Ouzo, it may be just me not wanting to take any risks. Could be either having a crash, a car knocking me down or somehow just getting the virus. I rather be safe now than sorry later. But that's just me.

Ouzo, I know that the risk in minimal if you ride alone and you are careful. But the risk is still there. Given the situation worldwide we in South Africa cannot afford to take unnecessary risks. The health system is lacking as it is right now plus the issues with load shedding plus the issues with water cuts which, in Fourways, we have at least once a week. Ok, I'm bringing unrelated issues to the discussion but at the end everything compounds to levels where it will be very difficult to health professionals to turn this crisis around.

I had to restrain myself from my weekend ride. Guys, this is serious. We're facing a massive epidemic with dire consequences for SA if we don't isolate. I know how tempting it is but let's be conscious and responsible about it. If we all want to ride in the future we have to be responsible now. Stop being in denial.

Does it work with one piece valves as well or only with valves where the core can be removed?

Hi guys! My Saeco Incanto came with a tiny grease tube that's pretty much finished now. I can't afford original Saeco stuff which is usually quite expensive. What can I use instead?

Back in 1996 I used to go for rides on weekends at the quarry that used to be in what today is Eagle Canyon. I remember there was nothing much around that area and one day driving back in very heavy traffic on what I think it was Northumberland/Witkoppen road, towards what I think it is now Fourways, I came across a small shopping centre that had a bicycle shop on the upper level. Does anyone remember the shop and the shopping centre?

I almost had it done last year when I had a kidney stones procedure done. The missus insisted so much so I decided to have it done. I had all the necessary authorizations and everything was going as planned. Then, minutes before going into the theater, the urologist asked me if I was 100% sure I wanted to do it. I asked him if there was the any possibility of side effects or discomfort during cycling to what he replied, yes, there is a small possibility. And that was enough for me to push back and bailed out right there. The missus supported me all the way.
