  1. Very sad, indeed. It would have been great if the team were still up there with the front runners.
  2. I bet no one has one like this It's a Bialetti Mini Express 1 tazza for camping.
  3. With hectic flu over here courtesy of the missus. Oh well, not that I need to go anywhere so I'll just catch up with days.

  10. Hi guys! My Saeco Incanto came with a tiny grease tube that's pretty much finished now. I can't afford original Saeco stuff which is usually quite expensive. What can I use instead?
  11. Back in 1996 I used to go for rides on weekends at the quarry that used to be in what today is Eagle Canyon. I remember there was nothing much around that area and one day driving back in very heavy traffic on what I think it was Northumberland/Witkoppen road, towards what I think it is now Fourways, I came across a small shopping centre that had a bicycle shop on the upper level. Does anyone remember the shop and the shopping centre?
  12. I almost had it done last year when I had a kidney stones procedure done. The missus insisted so much so I decided to have it done. I had all the necessary authorizations and everything was going as planned. Then, minutes before going into the theater, the urologist asked me if I was 100% sure I wanted to do it. I asked him if there was the any possibility of side effects or discomfort during cycling to what he replied, yes, there is a small possibility. And that was enough for me to push back and bailed out right there. The missus supported me all the way.
  13. Ok, that explains why there's a 747 parked there all the time. Fanks!
  14. For the past 6 years or so every time I fly to Cape Town I see a British Airways 747 parked there. It doesn't seem to have moved in all that time. Does anyone know the story?
  15. I was facing the same decision 1.5 years ago. I decided to buy the Saeco (R10k back then) and I don't regret it. Great coffee cup after cup.
  16. Boca - River Copa Libertadores final tonight promises to be a cracker!
  17. What do VE and VD stand for?
  18. What do you mean with old?
  19. I've also noticed wet spots on my back RR. They tend to go away when I add new sealant, Ryder in my case. I'm on my second back tyre after 4.5 years but I rarely ride more than 30km on a weekend.
  20. Looks like it will be my next investment too! Never heard of these things, thanks!
  21. Over the years I learnt to clean the cassette after 4-5 rides, depending on conditions, and it's relatively easy. On Sunday, though, I was tasked to clean my friend's bike and took me a few hours to get all that gunk out. Will check Namgear, thanks!
  22. I've used rags as well after I scrub with Kleen Green and, yes, it's the only way to get all the gunk between the cogs out. But I thought maybe WD40 would do a better job in dissolving the gunk with less quantities and elbow grease. Not that my cassettes ever get that dirty but just to save some time.
  23. Never thought of that!
  24. True, but I was wondering maybe because it's sprayed then there's less of it to dispose of.
  25. Agree. I've tried paraffin before but disposing of it is a hassle. I normally use Kleen Green but requires a lot of scrubbing. I was wondering if WD40 spray can dissolve the cassette gunk more effectively.
