  1. No what I am saying is that there is a number of whites that are so insecure in South Africa that even the death of a Zimbabwean is enough to get them into a tail spin about how violent, racist, incompetent, superstious, and just uncivilist all non-whites are in South Africa. And to add to it that the ANC is fully to blame for it all. Sorry, I don't buy into that. LIfe is to complicated for such simple observations. In a way you are right. Unfortunately our governments policies are racist. We all know that there are underlying reasons for their need but continuing to propose and implement such policies perpetuates a racist society. There is no easy solution but continuing to waste energy on rectifying wrongdoings of the past instead of making a better future for all will not get us anywhere. The Zimbabwean policy of land grabbing is a classic case of cutting off your nose to spite your face. This is already happening in this country albeit in a much more subtle manner. I wonder how Zim would be now if Mbeki had taken a much tougher stance against Mad Bob?
  2. "WHICH IS THE BEST MTB CHAIN?" A clean and well maintained one!
  3. Very saddened by this news. My deepest condolences to the Reyneke family and his colleagues.
  4. Ideal tournament for his comeback. Press are on a tight leash and spectators are by invitation only and under tight security.
  5. Hey Crow! That love affair with the HD might last less time than I thought!
  6. Yes truly a sad day. The song does not preach murder. General De La Rey was a brilliant General, leader and tactician. Read the song for yourself....... it is actually also a sad song about a sad time in our history........ as you can see there is nothing inciting in the song..... please do NOT be so naive and beleive everything yo read or hear on the news. Thanks for the info. Also don't patronise me and assume that I am naive and believe what I read in the news. It was a genuine question as I dont know the history of the song and what the lyrics are about. Havent heard any mention of De La Rey in the news.
  7. Hey, I saw a similar machine in a pub here!

  9. Can you buy separate cassette sprockets? Never seen them.
  10. Puhlease! What a load of sentimental BS! You sound like one of those Hollywood couples that pledge their love and promise to be together forever and everyone is surprised when they bust up. We all know where this is going to end up dont we. In FOR SALE in under a year. Good luck and I look forward to your next build as well.
  11. Actually, some gliders do have engines and I was wondering if sidecars on motorbikes need to be on a specific side depending which side of the road you are on.
  12. Hey Elvin, cant comment on the stickers as I've only used my Park Tools ones on a mates bike and she converted to tubeless anyway but have you maybe checked the inside of your tyre for a thorn. The offending puncture causer is often left imbedded in the tyre and keeps repuncturing the tube. Just a thought. Hey Joe, where did you get that satellite dish mop? Could do with one.
  13. R700 excl Vat is not too bad. Reckon it must be better built than some of the others for sale here if it is used in mining. 6000lux is about 550 lumens? If its accurate its in the same ball park as the others and the wight is not too heavy.
  14. I wonder how much the charger is?
  15. Physical and emotional pain? What did you do? Swim?
  16. Nationalaaaaise Them!!!!!!!!! The beauty of the spruit is that its accessable at so many different points. From the top....Alberts Farm, Emmarentia, Parkhurst, Delta Park, Fratteli's, Blairgowrie, William Nicol, Field and Study, Bryanston, Riverside, Paulshof. It is moderately uphill from Paulshof up to Alberts Farm and you can throw in a few steeper climbs if you want. Nothing too hectic with a few obstacles here and there to test your skills. Much more accessible and less intimidating than Deer Park.
  17. Really nice pics. Would love to know the story behind the broken rear tri on that Yeti.
  18. Clever boy!
  19. Really doubt you can do that. You dont have much of a lever on the bolt itself. I reckon if you strengthen the hanger and put in a softer bolt all you will do is bend your derailleur in a mishap. My 2c.
  20. I've got an Oregon. I went for a 2.5 hour traiing course on how to use the unit and the software. Worth every cent. I wanted a real gps and not an Edge as I want to use it in the car as well and I really dont need the HR function on it. The larger screen is a bomus as well. Anyone know if you can convert a Google kmz file to gpx?
  21. Oregon 300.
  22. Do they have a MTB trail on that thing?
