  1. My garmin 610 is great with many functionalities..may be found to be pricey tho.
  2. I'm trying to share with the hubbers my joy of receiving my new one10 pyga. An excellent assembly completed by Hannes and his team at Cyclotech in Bloemfontein. They felt the 'raw' aluminum would not be practical especially cleaning dirt grease etc and proceeded to have a clear coat applied by a specialist panel shop and the results are amazing. Will attempt to post pic tomorrow. She is a beaut...even if I must say so myself.
  3. Yep trying..sorry will try again. Any idea how to load a pic with an iPad?

  11. Hi I'm new to the cycling world watched today's stage end and noticed froome was the stronger rider today and on a few occasions it looked as though he was able to ride away from wiggins easily. I've also seen this in a few other stages..my question may be naive but shouldnt the best cyclist win the tour. If froome has the legs to should he not attempt to win the tour for himself and the team or does he have to follow orders and let wiggins gain all the glory. The reality is none of the competitors have been able to attack wiggins and sustain any advantage while the biggest threat to wiggins is within the team and under instructions to contain him. Yes this has been boring to watch Cadel is finished schlek doping nabali tired..team sky give froome instructions to go for glory..for sake of viewership of TDF.
  12. Hi It saddens me when any persons loses their life especially over replaceable items likes bikescars etc.wht is more disturbing is the racial slant this thread is taking. This was not performed with racial intent but purely criminal intent. The views expressed by some supporting the introductionof apartheid is appalling as a means to eradicate these crimes. We need to see it for wht it is a sad senseless crime in which a father was killed..the father could hv come from any racial group and most likely have suffered same fate. My condolensces to the family. Cana
  13. Nespresso taste good nice variety of blends but the costs per cup is very high vs an autimated espresso machine. I currently use a Saeco Royal and u can vary bean grind to quantity of beans etc. Granted mine bit of over kill but the cost per cup is leSs thn half and I only use Origin or Illy beans. U don't want a coffee maker tht u don't want to use because it costs too much. The pod system generally small initial capital outlay but expensive running costs while espressos the opposite. Your consumption would determine the best option.
  14. Condolences to family. RIP

  19. Hi I'm 1.86 and my first rd bike was a size 58..It was an amazing bike with sram red and all bells and whistles..but it just never felt comfortable almost cumbersome..I've subsequently purchased a 56 with slightly longer seatpost but I love riding now feels more responsive I can flick and throw bike easier. The position is mire aggressive which increases fun factor. Hope this helps. Regards Cana
  20. Shame don't u just feel for the boys with 26ers they can't even allow us to enjoy our day which happens every 4 years. Its like their small wheels are representative of their manhood always feeling the need to compensate..shame shame ;-) To my fellow 29ers enjoy ur day .
  21. Hi I'm new to the mtb world and iv recently bought my first mtb a Giant Anthem 29er. Since then I noticed there are different rear shock options. I currently have the RP 2..and am considering purchasing the RP23 if it adds additional benefits. I'm 100kg and 6'1. Does the RP 23 offer many more practical functional differences compared to my current shock the RP 2.
