  1. Tatt that is really a sexy green mamba you have, you are going to have so Much fun. I've had mine for 7 months and every time I go for a ride I amaze myself a the plushness of the suspension and howit absorbs everything the trails throws at it..have fun..all we need is the damn wind to die a bit. Bigwheel, Love your build kit, nice crank. Noticed you went with 160mm fork i assume youhave a go at some drop off but crest wheels..hmmm interesting choice. Guys well done on your builds, give us reports on your first rides and thoughts. Cana
  2. It's heart warming to hear positive news coming a lbs far to often we hear how ppl feel they are ripped off. Well done Linden may you be an example to others on customer service.
  3. Hi guys thanks for the responses, Its been really tough to get out on the rd of late, here's another thought, if it's agreed the weather in cape town only starts clearing mid dec, should the races like burger dc etc not move to a time after argus as there seems to be consensus that the best weather is experienced from feb - April maye even June. By that stage we should have reached our peak. Any comments For the comments about joining the wet wild and dirty bunches on mtb, I'm a regular table mountain rider but do not believe it can compensate for 5 hours on the rd with rd bike as the gear ratios are completely different. Can
  4. I'm not sure if anyone feels the same but 2013 summer season has been the most miserable I've ever experienced, more so now that I've been cycling over the past few years, I have not had a chance to train at all. Im not sure how other capies have been able to train for burger and dc races, but it's the latter half in November and this weeken weather was what we experience in July..WTF!!!
  5. Haha so funny, I was also in that pRedicament a few years ago..2 years before marriage Had my R6 in my dining room that was my baby..then marriage..bike remained in dining room for a whole week then had table and chairs moved in so we could entertain and house was all prettied up..ok..so r6 took the space in garage..then came the golf phase and now cycling..needless to say the house became too small..so went on to design and build our new home. My old place was 180m which was ok..but not enough space for golf clubs, rd and mtb, big tv, foos ball table, table tennis board..new house 600m ..200m of ground floor all mine..buddies bikes here for ease od riding..all toys as mentioned above has their own space..bar fridge fully stocked..coffee espresso machine air fryer and a guest pad...what a life..lol..wifey happiness as has enough space to pretty up me with my man cave big boy toys..my pyga, Scott foil 10 smiles on me when I'm naughty and punished to solitary confinement in my dungeon.
  6. Wow, got me excited remembering my first ride which was also my firs fall..it can only get easier and u better controlling your great bike.

Decide on frame, buy from dealer get warrantee..shop on hub for New components..new xt group set was available for 6 etc..u will get a hand picked personalized great bike for 30. Yes there are times u may get the full packaged reduced by lbs, u won't need the 2014 models as often it's just a change in cosmetics get the outgoing model at reduced price. Cwc had 20% off all items on Saturday, had x1 giant carbon for 36 less discount will be within your budget, so shop around and u will find all u need for 30
  8. Hi I have saguaros on front and rear and they are amazingly strong relatively light very grippy..never had an issue an a mate has done rd rising on his while a friend had rralf..ralf wears so quickly it's really very costly tires if distanc is considered. Good luck my support for saguaro TNT.
  9. I had a similar experience..2 guys broke into my place ...all hell broke lose we were asleep at time..alarm triggered ...my neighbor helped me apprehend these conte in the process to contain them they became pretty badly bruised ..we bundled them into the boot and took them to the police to report the attempted burglary..i left there feeling proud that i prevented another person from experiencing a theft by Locking up this **** ..days later was charged with assault to do grievous bodily harm..a charge that carried a greater prison sentence than the burglary..not to mention me losing my job due to criminal record..lawyers fees expenses piled up and eventually we struck a deal ..I withdrew theft case them the assault case..our first world criminal justice system.
  10. Hectic dude I wish u find that piece ****
  11. Hi I've had maxxis cross mark and ardent lust combo...good strong durable but bit on heavy side I've had ralf non snakeskin..very quick light not very durable.. I've now got geax saguaro TNT ..this has to be the the best there is ...strong, quick light durable.. My recommendation..
  12. Hi I hav to agree to pain here..had u gone1 level up on the supply chain to the importer your request to swap may have some merits, but you're dealing with 2 retailers who in fact are in opposition for business albeit selling the same products...these stores were kind enough to check what the fault was if small enough to resolve for you then realising it required some electrical hardware suggested you return to store you purchased. .they would have been perfectly within their rights to send you packing the minute you walked as the item was not theirs. In my opinion you should thank them for great customer service not slate them so from me "a big up to Thule, going beyond the call of duty'
  13. Hi I feel ur pleasure I have recently moved to town and my bed's view is the block house ..needless to say its a pleasure getting onto the bike and riding vs the schlep of loading bike racks bikes etc..took me 50 min before to get onto the mountain..enjoy.
  14. You going to hurt yourself with that bike....no dude
  15. My wife works at Cosmo....needless to sayi enjoy visiting her at office lol
  16. My major weakness is the woollies fruit gums..im an absolute junkie..buy 3 packets at a time and on my way home finish a packet..not good I've been told ..but can't stop
  17. Hi Griffin A friend of mine did his argus on sarguaro and been riding with hem in mountain since then..I must say they are very strong tires..I think the 'TNT' stands for tar and trail. Google them I have a pyga which had on ikon and crossmark combonation..these are good tires but felt the geax to be lighter faster and more versatile. Would highly recommend..although I have heard hey are a bit diff to put on the converse also true which is good to know;-)
  18. Hi I have them on arch ex it wasnt so bad..very good tires..
  19. Hi geax saguaro TNT great tires handles rd nd dirt very well. Lightish..Rolls well and grips when needed..all round fantastic whel
  20. Nice of them tho technically if this is a manufacturing defect and th frame replaced irrespective of whether first owner or not with a limited time from sale.
  21. Hi buddy I believed we not only have to be concerned about thieves at tokai but tazer armed thieves as well.;-) Give Bernie my regards Nad
  22. Hi buddy saw pic and it looks eina sorry it happ..but based on wht u described I'm sure u also think about how much worse it could hv been, the scrapes and bruises could easily hv been a broken jawbone or in typical Cale town fashion missing front teeth, so u have much to be grateful...besides u can now claim for a new helmet Take care get well
  23. Hi Well done enjoy its a beautiful piece of equipment you have there..nothing as exciting as finally receiving your long awaited personalized new Pyga. Enjoy and please give us feedback on the first few rides and whether ur expectations were met. Cana
  24. Yes they are all you mentioned but you forgot to mention very expensive per cup. I have the saeco bean to cup and I have a great full body blend that costs R 40 for 250g bag which yield about 25- 30 cups. The equipment may cost more initially but running costs are a fraction of the nespresso coffe makers.
