  1. Tried something different last week - mini pork wellington.s

Cut a pork fillet into 8cm lengths, pan fried with a little butter, left to cool. Smeared with American Mustard. Fried up some diced mushroom, finely chopped onions, garlic and some fresh rosemary, thyme and oregano out of the garden. Put this mixture on some puff pastry sheets, then a fillet on top and baked in the oven for ~30 minutes.

Served with baby potatoes and pan fried patty pans and green beans. Was pretty damn good. My son sent me the photo afterwards :D

I like the Wellington being in one piece (one serving per person) cause we normally make a big one and when slicing it the hole thing falls apart. The playing is very difficult then. Good job.

  2. Kan sy braaibroodjies maak?

In die perfekte wêreld is daar altyd braaibrooidjies en boobs!

    Bring sy die jaggewere saam?

Braai broodjies is 'n inherente talent. Nie iets wat mens by 'n chef skool kan leer nie.

      :D :D :D

You guys are on form today!

  3. Anyone see that news24 stats rassie vs toetie, eish!

Stats seem to favour Toettie but I think Rassie's year made a lot of people believe again and brought some pride back. If not by results certainly by the way they played - at times and at least in the incoming tour (I think).

For me, 2018 had a few patches to get excited about but most of the time the Boks are still poor. 25% of the time they don't pitch up. Another 25% they are fokkol lus to play rugby. 25% average and the rest we can at least smile about.

Same old. Same old since Kamp Staaldraad.

  4. I think Rassie made a big mistake bringing subs on when he should not have..

    Forced subs maybe?

All the players wear heart rate monitors these days. Their work rate is being tracked live by the coaching staff. The coaches will know how many meters they’ve covered, tackles made, heart beats per minute etc. More importantly the coaches can see when their HR does not return to recovery levels as it should, HR is getting laboured – meaning the player is getting tired. If a tired player misses a tackle it is not his fault. It’s the fault of the coaches who didn’t take him off in time.

I would guess with the intensity of a hiveld test some of the player ‘had to be taken out’.

  5. Watching  that sprint on TV5 Monde with French commentary was like "you hit the line and it sounds like you're only under the flame rouge"

No idea where the sprint was and no idea what happened on the GC.

  6. For those interested to see how much different the elevation plots would look like, the first one is the 2017 elevation map, the second image is the 2017 elevation map reversed....

If anything I wouldn't mind trying the reverse.

But what a big KOCK UP for this to be leaked.
