Just a random question, what are the SA Road rules about something standing out so far behind a car that don't have lights or plates. My old man told me that the old rules were that it may not stick out more than 0.5m unless it's an emergency and have a red vlaggie. I also eyed one of those racks, but you can only use them on a bakkie, because my Merc towbar can't hold the weight and it will push the rear of my car down like a sootskraper on the road. Just curious about the rules, but that aside I personally think it is better and easier than A Thule rack.

I see only one problem there, and it is Cajees Why didn't he do for a second opinion at an other Giant bike shop? My SS 29er is almost done, only need handlebar, stem, saddle and the rest I will steal from other bikes in the garage.

I also have one of these, they are heavy but very stable at 120km/h and it can take 2 Downhill bikes. I like the platform for my XC carbon bike, I don't like the thule action on the upper tube of my bike, but if I had the money I would probably go for thule. But all this aside I can only give a positive review on my cheap BNB.

Yes, but if someone buy the frame from that guy and later sell it into the market to an innocent guy that want a Spez, they don't know it is fake. We must protect the 2nd buyer, he might not know it is a fake.

Chunky's grips is R300 there. Seems to me the shops with all the fancy glass and decorations are a whole lot mpre expensive than Jannie's bike shop. The price for manual labour is sky high!

Nope, I have everything, I just need a headset, that was R250. Chainbolts 4-R230, I was looking at grips R300. Adapter for disc brake R150. This is some of the cheapest parts I could get my hands on because it is for a cheap SS for commuting. One very cool hubber helped me out with wheels, frame and handlebars, at a very good price.

After visiting my LBS I notice everything is expensive. I am trying to build something cheap, but for 6parts the bill is R700. I can not afford that anymore. So my question is, where do you guys buy things like headsets, bb, chainbolts and things like that? I cannot help the owner of LBS build his racebike anymore...
