  1. Thanks rouxtjie. I want do bike mechanic course so that I can do everthing self.
  2. Nope, I have everything, I just need a headset, that was R250. Chainbolts 4-R230, I was looking at grips R300. Adapter for disc brake R150. This is some of the cheapest parts I could get my hands on because it is for a cheap SS for commuting. One very cool hubber helped me out with wheels, frame and handlebars, at a very good price.

    Parts.

After visiting my LBS I notice everything is expensive. I am trying to build something cheap, but for 6parts the bill is R700. I can not afford that anymore. So my question is, where do you guys buy things like headsets, bb, chainbolts and things like that? I cannot help the owner of LBS build his racebike anymore...
  4. My voet is elke keer seer as ek daai foto sien!
  5. Downhill, 203mm travel, 26/27.5 Freeride 160-203mm travel, it is something like Rampage 26/27.5 Enduro 140-160mm travel, 27.5/29 XC - Cross country 100mm 27.5/29 That is all I have...

  8. As jy jou chain in die kleinste cog sit is daar nie so baie druk op die spring in die derailleur nie wat hom 'n langer lewensduur kan gee.
  9. I think the whole BC looks legit! I will start to save for my bike vkay!
  10. I want to make a 2 week trip to Whistler... That is my dream...
  11. The other thing a well is do you want to kill him or scare him? If you can use .22 bullets it can really hurt him but don't kill hom. The thing Dale said there is true, then the basterd take your bike and gun.
  12. I was aslo thinking about it, I was thinking of taking my grandfathers 6.35mm handgun, it is small so you can strap it to your body. On the other hand I was thinking, why don't the make small paintball guns, you can use a CO2 bomb and then it would be small and you don!'t need a license, you can take pepper balls as well.
  13. Would you guys run a chain guide? Or something like Julien Absalon, a little carbon chain guide?
  14. And that was not a great stop for his neck... HILL is on fire, and then the video died.
  15. The Santa is a130mm travel bike vs the Camber is a 110/120mm travel bike. Both are strong. I saw Curtis Keene on the Camber/Stumpy during the Enduro World Cup and the bike was going top 10's(I can be wrong). On the other hand Santa is making VERY strong Carbon bikes, you can go on youtube and check out what Peat and Ratboy do with those bikes. I think you must take both out for a test drive and decide from there. I am a Santa fan but you must get yourself a bike that you like and feel comfortable on.
  16. Oh yes, the blanket project for the homeless.
  17. Saw on Twitter CWC was on Cartebalnche, did they do anything wrong? I was just wondering because when you end up on Carteblanche you did something wrong and they want the uncover the whole story. The reason for my concern is that they have my money... Any reason to worry?
  18. Would love to see MR Minnaar with one of those, but it is not going to happen and neither would production, well that is just me...
  19. 1 Is sit in die beoefening van sy bedryf? 2 Artikel 18A Skenking?
  20. I am also running 2x10 with 28/39 you can hit 40kph on the open without pedaling like hell, but when you are in the woods then I know why I am running 2x10, I will never go back tp 3x10. My 2x10 hate the open tar....
  21. Well groenies is 20km and can do 17kph. The Big Red Barn is you can do 22-24kph, but it will go fast so you can do the whole 30km loop
  22. Groenkloof nature reserve!!! It is at fountains circle about 15km drive from Eldo... And then the bikepark at Rigel wolwespuit. But go to groenies, it is Aweome!!
  23. I am running 26/39 on my SRAM crankset and a 12/36 cassette on my 29. I am topping out at around 55/60kph and when it is wide open with no climds I sometimes wonder it the 39T is good but when I enter the woods I realise why I have the 39T. When it is time for a new cassette I will take the 11/36 or even smaller.
  24. Do you have any idea what those bad boys cost?
