  1. Okay, well it doesn't have all the above, but quite a few. Come to Bains MTB trails in Wellington, 29km of almost non-stop, uninterrupted singletrack, mostly flowing, it's amazing!

as cool as this is, and it's damn cool, it's one of the reasons people hate cyclists.
  3. And then the olympics!
  4. Front brake a little and back brake on hard to slide yourself around the corner. Fastest way there is.
  5. they used to be I think, but now for xtr and dura-ace they are different. (think, not too sure)
  6. I doubt Hesjedal will sniff the tour win this year. If Alberto, who is, Let's face it, a better rider couldn't win the giro and the tour with the help of something extra, I doubt Ryder will be able to. But maybe next year, and just my opinion.
  7. Also a picture, not sure if it should be posted though.
  8. I think between 12-12:10.
  9. That was on the way out, this happened coming down the Hout Bay side, crash must've been around 12ish I think, was 1 or 2 km away from the construction site...
  10. U16's ride in the interclub cat.
  11. Ja, from what I could gather the driver was going into one of those view points, and didn't look or something, and hit the cyclist coming down, the car was on the wrong side of the road with his bike on the windscreen and him on the roof. When I rode past he was conscious, I think, but it didn't look very good.
  12. Anybody know if the guy is ok and what exactly happened? rode past and saw him on the roof of a car with some people helping him, was absolutely stunned and shocked.
  13. You should you get seeded on your previous rides, lots of calculations and stuff, check their website (www.pedalpower.org.za) and then seeding, will tell you everything you need to know. Also helps a lot on the road, if you're into that kind of stuff
  14. Yup, the track was really nice, the 1st 16km suited me, cross country style, it went donwhill after that, finished in about 2hr42mins, had a long week and the 4am start didn't help anything. The short route intersections are always a problem. comes with it I guess. Although the last little mud crossing was bad, people walking all over the place, one person was screaming about the mud in her shoes
  15. I had quite a nice ride, went full out, heart rate at 93% for the first 40mins, slowed it down a little after that. Then I broke my FD, so no shifting, small chainring it would be, and a slow ride on the downhill half First 20km's were amazing though, steep ups and downs, lovely singletrack!
  16. I've got 2 IDT's as well, the one is a giant, basic stuff, chows tyres, sitting in a cupboard, the other is a Tacx flow, very nice, although the grade seems inaccurate. But nothing beats the rollers. took a few minutes to learn, faster you go easier it is. Only thing that isn't great is the no resistance, but fine for just pedalling. I've had a few falls, trying to reach the remote on the couch and trying to pick up my phone, but you don't have any forward momentum so nothing really happens. Also learnt to stand up and ride now, pretty insane. but they feel a lot more like the road than an IDT, helps with core balance apparently too...
  17. Ergo 3's are incredible! The liquigas green ones will go nicely with your bike
  18. I'll take one if you can get them!
  19. I suppose you don't.
  20. And then there's the 3T Integra stem. Which, although the others are quite cool, destroys them in looks, but not budget.
  21. Quite ridiculous Cherise isn't going. Not to take away from any of the others...
  22. I was about 1km from the finish and when they came past Burry was wearing a red spez jacket...
  23. I got Assos Uno's, really awesome! favourite pair of bibs by far. I've used rapid sports, anatomics, northwave's and craft's, and assos are the best by far.
  24. Their TT bikes were like that, pretty amazing. although if it rains...eish.
  25. oooof, in Queenstown, freezing there in winter. Tacx are good, depends on what you want though. You can get options that link to a pc and show you various things. also depends on how much you want to spend I guess, the primary factor. But there are lots out there, just depends on your budget.
