    Who stocks the Wippermann?
  3. ML are you intending to make this available as a kit? I don't mind doing my own assembly etc. but don't have the time and resources to source components and manufacture the hardware. If you are prepared to make up the machined parts and sell it as a kit and if the price is reasonable I would be interested in 2.
  4. I see a Darwin Award coming up here .
  5. Do we get paid for voting? Sorry, couldn't resist . I did vote by the way.
  6. I still remember that charity spinning thing he organised in Mellville, I hadn't been cycling long and it nearly killed me. Who was the Hubber spinning instructor again?
  7. Is it just me or has the Hub gone back to more like it used to be in the last few weeks? Lots of good articles, nice debate mostly cycling related and good topics like multi stage tours etc. About a month ago I was seriously wondering if it was still worth it but I have changed my mind again. Keep it up guys .
  8. Sonic and i had an unfortunate incident on Saturday which caused some minor damage to a wheel and pedals (Approximately R 1400). Mailed Cyclesure, they replied with a claim form, got a quote from the LBS and I submitted it via fax to Cyclesure. 2 Hours later and the claim was approved and the LBS told to go ahead, now that is good service .
  9. Would love to join you but we are only coming down on Saturday. Can we make it an evening sundowners ride?
  10. Cool thanks AOB1, that clears up that one then.
  11. Now we chased him away.
  12. Ask him, he is still here. AOB1, are you or were you banned and if so do you have a current licence from CSA?
  13. Should get good odds, CarbonBoy still has to go buy a feather duster to get rid of the cobwebs on his bike. Most expensive Titanium paperweight you have ever seen.
  14. Slightly off topic but does anyone know why, on the PPA seeding page, some of the recent races have a winners time of 00:01:00 and the Ride Index is 99%. I presume it gets fixed later but why do they put it up like that?
  15. Only thing that bugs me is that when you are trying to race competitively you never know if you are competing on a level playing field or not.
  16. Ok made a plan, sent a pm to Chunky and got hold of OB for some tips so I'm off to take of my Handlebar tape.
  17. Ag no this gets even worse . Ok I give up already, I'm gonna get beaten by a girl.
  18. Yup Isle of Man is a bit far even for a helicopter.
  19. Ja, SP can probably cover up bullet holes with nail polish
  20. The series doesn't print any numbers currently, the hosting event does. So, now the event would have to print numbers, and the series as well. I will need to discuss with the various timing companies etc to maybe get a specific block of numbers allocated to the series, then print a set of cloth numbers maybe. Bruce wouldn't it be easier to issue an ID card (similar to the licence card) which the person would have to produce in order to collect a VS entry at registration. ie. he must have his licence plus the SuperSeries card. It wouldn't cost too much to produce a card and laminate it.
  21. The real irony here is that I collected Jules's entry for him. When I asked the CSA ladies if he could be moved to the Open Category they replied that he could not as he had a full racing licence. They then gave me his entry envelope and goodie bag - WITHOUT ASKING TO SEE HIS LICENCE - which I did not have with me as he was actually wanting to move to the Open Cat.
