    The Ti frame advertised in the classifieds recently caught my eye. Looked like a good deal except I'm off the bike currently and not sure about returning. Somebody else is enjoying it now.!

    Since when do people offer more than advertised price.? Probably a case of good interest received in goods and now wanting to re-evaluate advertised price. Normally those goods are removed only to reappear at inflated price. Unfortunately anything goes in the classifieds. You can only choose how you wish to deal with these situations.

    Training tools/aids (when used properly) open the door to quality training vs quantity training.

    Tough to say anything bad once you've invested so much in the piece of equipment. I do think there's enough evidence though to justify the use of powermeters. But like any training tool, it's only effective when used properly. Will it make you win races - no, probably not if you weren't good enough to win to start.

    Lots making the switch to bigger volume tyres - not too many at 28c just yet. Aside from the brake calipers, one needs to be sure that the frame can accommodate it too. I can't see 28's fitting my Tarmac SL4.

    Resurrecting an oldie here I know, but just been having a run of poor deals. Committed to buying, arranged for collection (cash deal), only to hear that item has been sold to somebody else when wanting to collect. WTF.! Small vent to realease some frustration ...
