  1. Any chance of getting some of this magic Orange Seal stuff.?
  2. What about "PERMA TUBES".?
  3. Ok, according the ratings seems Regular has the best sealing but shortest lifespan while Endurance lasts a bit longer. Assume sub-zero for cold conditions.
  4. When you have any of those sealants that just don't work, that's exactly what happens. LOL PS: which Orange Seal have you used.? I see that there are 3 options available: Regular Endurance Sub-zero
  5. Not sure about a heartbeat. LOL I collected wheels from some very annoyed lbs staff not so long ago - seems even they can struggle with some stubborn tyre/rim combinations. But money well spent for me.
  6. I saw something similar a while ago and wondered whether it worked or was just a gimmick.Getting tubeless road tyres on the rim can be a job so happy to try this. Now to try and remember where I saw it.?
  7. Can't exactly argue with that, but what to do if nothing local works.? LOL
  8. Had a quick look, but seems like another case of "can't ship to SA".
  9. I've checked CRC and the other popular online stores without luck. Where I did find, store was unable to ship product to SA. Still searching ...
  10. Heard good things about Geax and Orange Seal. Finding it isn't so easy though. Token guys did a review on the Tufo sealant which was also promising.
  11. Groups have become a necessity, but be mindful that larger groups bring about its own challenges on the road. With a large number of DC training groups sharing the same space, I've been witness to fair bit of shenanigans over the last couple of weekends. Be careful, be safe.
  12. Missed this one. Rivale wasn't on my radar but that's at a price worth considering.
  13. Things were just made too well 10yrs ago.! LOL
  14. More like a water drainage hole.? Usually fixed by re-taping. Existing tape likely leaking.
  15. Was the Shimano part supplied by Canyon.? Cool if Cool Heat is willing to warranty the item locally. Doubt that many other local distributors would warranty an item sourced internationally.
  16. Lekker SNR.!!
  17. Price makes them a tempting option. I think the cheaper of the two options is R500 or thereabouts.? No experience, but suspect they'll probably be more like "Gatorskins" rather than "GP4000" going by some reviews. Horses for courses and perhaps worth a try when I need again.
  18. I've had good experience with Fusion 3 too. Don't see them much nowadays, so hoping 5's are as just as good if not better, for when I do need to replace.
  19. You're quite right on pricing - there isn't much difference. Tubeless is still rather scarce locally with limited brand and model options. That is slowly changing though.
  20. Don't you mean Fusion 3 or 5.? I think Hutchinson skipped 4.
  21. Normally the last words before all sorts of dc hell and politics.! LOL
  22. Seatpost looks like it has a crack. Stunning bike. What wheels are those.? Good, budget friendly disc brake wheels are still hard to find locally.
  23. If Colnago are speccing bikes with Shimano, doesn't that make it "ok".? Keep in mind that I have neither Colnago nor Campag. LOL
