  2. Most of us use the app MyFitnessPal, but they all do the same thing. They are good to teach you about what is actually in your food. I usually log religiously for a few days to learn, and then dont log for weeks because I know what's in my food by then. With MFP app you can also set up your Fat : Protein : Carb goal ratio (on their website) which is great EDIT: As for the sugar, I agree with Schweinehund above. In my experience having some sugar makes me crave for MORE sugar. Cut out the bit in your coffee/tea and your cravings for sweet things will become less.

  12. I decided that I need to go see the doctor today after battling with a flu virus for weeks, and I have an important race in two weeks time. While I'm there, can I ask a normal GP to take a blood sample and what do I need to look for when monitoring health on LCHF? Cholesterol I know, but what else? Also, if he prescribes antibiotics, I think I should do a course of probiotics too, since I feel I have had generally poor health and immune system this year. Does one start with PBs after finishing ABs? Any brand I should specifically get?

  17. I have found when I do a double-wammy, so data is less accurate. It is as if the two apps compete or take turns to use the GPS

  24. No one told my body that... On the contrary, I now eat much less. In my experience it was sugar and carbs that made me hungry again and again. Unfortunately that article doesn't provide ANY information on the study that was done. What was the rodents' diet? What type of fats were it fed? What is the relationship between the rodents' response to fatty diets and how humans respond to fat? Rodents are naturally herbivores, humans are not Who eats cream cake to loose weight? So, don't stress it
