  4. No one told my body that... On the contrary, I now eat much less. In my experience it was sugar and carbs that made me hungry again and again. Unfortunately that article doesn't provide ANY information on the study that was done. What was the rodents' diet? What type of fats were it fed? What is the relationship between the rodents' response to fatty diets and how humans respond to fat? Rodents are naturally herbivores, humans are not Who eats cream cake to loose weight? So, don't stress it

  18. I'm not well read on the subject, but I don't think you need to be in constant ketosis at all. Unless there are medical reasons you prefer to be (like diabetes). After initially adapting your body to fat burning, your body can easily switch between burning carbs and fat, and as I understand one can dip in and out of ketosis on any day? Having excess ketones in urine simply means that you produced more than you needed. The lack of ketones in urine may mean that you are producing ketones but your body used all of it, or that you aren't producing ketones at all, which is less likely on LCHF. I'm sure Htone can shed some light and correct me if I'm wrong?

  23. As a side note:Chocolate Mousse! Every once in a while I really crave chocolate and I substitute with chocolate mousse. I whip cream, eggs and melted butter together and then add coco, vanilla essence and sweetener (or you could use Nomu Skinny hot chocolate). It tastes great, even though the texture isn't really moussey! Maybe someone can offer some advice?
