I have said before but got lambasted that we are talking about adults here that have made an informed decision not to ride with a helmet despite what we all may say. It's a risk that they are prepared to take and be it on their 'head' what happens to their families etc. when they do have a big fall on the pip! They probably don't wear seatbelts either ..... But it is a whole different kettle of fish were it a youngster ......... then I think a swift smack to the back of the pip is on!
