1) Getting over my serious 'health hickup' in April was a definite highlight 2) LittleBen getting his motivation back big up !!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to those TCS riders that have supported and encouraged him this year (special mention to Zaskar for Winter Challenge and MWNN for 94.7) 3) The many rides with mates (Hubba's and others) and specially those with BBB and LBB 4) Riding in the Vets Licenced bunch at 94.7 was cool (thanks IanJ and the others!) 5) Mugg and Bean 24 hour definite highlight! 6) Having a better half that gets irritated every now and then but still supports both me and LBB in our cycling endeavours !!!!! Many others but don't want to bore anyone!

Not to put to fine a point on it Marius but the FOX F100RLT that I put on my Epic last night definitely weighs more than they say on the web!!!! So ja you right, bit optimistic these okes!

The geometry is a tad radical but other than that I'd say it's a fine machine! Those tyres sure can't weigh much (harsh ride though!)

I trained with Tiagra for a long time with absolutely no issues (ok so it was in the dark!)

On a practical note, how do these really really lightweight bikes hold up as day to day training/racing machines? Is it true that for example XTR chain blades although light do wear out a lot quicker etc. etc.? Or do the okes/gals use them only to race with and then train on some old dog they haul out of the back shed?

So ........... I will be upgrading my RockShox Recon Solo Air which I have ridden with for the past 2 1/2 years (first on my FSR XC and then on my Epic since January this year!) to a Fox F100RLT tonight !!!!!! Any advice from anyone riding this fork who can maybe give some guidance where to start with the adjusters and air (85kg's me!)? Or ......... should I just go with the manual's recommendations? And ............ I do know that the settings are not the same for everyone but since I'm off to SabieX next week there won't be that much time to experiment before the racing begins! I also know that often the manual recommendations can be a bit off.

- Dufus, there are even okes available on the HUB from the East Rand as I recall who could have assisted him to complete that correctly!

So 2 pages later and we still don't know why 'Auk' is in trouble?
