  1. I'll check on the sizes when I get home. The early remotes had a X ring for the piston, think the later ones have 2 o rings but will confirm.
  2. Haven't heard much, just the armchair pilots moaning. I wouldn't want to fly the planes either. Not due to maintenance but rather I can't afford to fly for free!
  3. I have sourced needle bearings for pedals for R&V bearings in Voortrekker rd.
  4. That's the one. The aviation skinder is going around as usual, but no one actually knows what is really happening.
  5. @LWB any idea what the story is with SAA's A340 that was supposed to go to Brussels but never seemed to leave ORT
  6. Wait till you've actually used one... then you will really really want one
  7. BrewFix in Victoria Junction are the Gaggia guys in CT.
  8. Should be able to get away without a new kit. Not worth the finance investment
  9. Should be able to get away without a new kit. Not worth the finance investment
  10. How old is the brake set you installed? If it's an elixir set, I'm assuming it was used. Recommend taking servicing the calipers, remove the pots clean, lube the sealing rings with some dot and rebleed the system. Just taken apart and old set of CR's myself and the pots where very sticky and dirty.
  11. Checkers carries those too at half the price. My dad is running one and has been pleasantly surprised. He has used a Hario too and can't tell a difference really, except for the slightly wonky knob for the grind arm.
  12. Have tried my hand a couple times at dynamic soaring, it's an art. Amazing to see when done by someone with the correct kit and knowledge. Used to use the saddle at the top of Chapmans Peak in a SE'er. Need to build them strong and ballast is your friend. Watch a friend fold his glider in half flying DS. Flapped 2 or 3 times like an eagle then plummeted straight down out the sky! Those gliders make an awesome thump as they go through the sheer layer.
  13. Half the people reading this thread now want that set.... including me! Think they need a BikeHub discount
  14. "Silver" has steel stanchions rather then aluminium
  15. Brilliant thanks!
  16. Think they are M5, just need to work out the pitch. I used to use irrigation hose barbs when I was running Avids years back, but want to make some proper ones. Turned a bleeding tool for a none stealth Reverb dropper the other day.
  17. Saw a Cypher at my LBS and it really does look like great value, especially at its price point. I'd personally spend the couple extra Rands over the base model and get the SLX 12x group version. They all have droppers etc. KTM don't have the same name in mountain biking as they do with motorbikes unfortunately.
  18. So much over lap, they should both be on the same thread
  19. Do you have drawings or dimensions of the plugs you made? Want to maybe try make a set myself
  20. Is he maybe Die MUISHOND
  21. As mention, if its just a top up, remove valve core, use syringe or bottle to fill via the valve, then replace core and inflate. Enduro Seal has a great little bottle with a pipe that fits over the valve stem. Bottle is supposed to included with the 1L package.
  22. Woodstock cycle works....
  23. My original DT Swiss bearings were shot by 4500km.... never seen a pressure washer and has been looked after. Interested to know what the expected mileage is. At that kind of mileage I'm willing to experiment with generic bearings. R1160 / 4500km = R0.25c per km just in rear hub bearings
  24. Most small machines won't have any data recording. Many larger machines will have a form of data recording, mostly twins and used for engine and trend monitoring, sometimes with video recording of the cockpit environment. These are normally required by the manufacturer, with different products available depending on the country or region you are based. But not the same indestructible black box and voice recorder systems carried by the likes of airliner's
  25. In the Ceres / Wolseley area. Thankfully didn't get the new airtime like the others.
