Wipe it clean after ever ride and monitor. If its leaving that much residue after every ride I would look at maybe getting an air can service.

Rockshox tend to use SRAM butter grease on the seals with about 2ml. Approx 1ml below the air piston and another 1ml on top of the piston.

The clutch will make shifting feeling feel a bit stiffer at the lever, but you should not be having issues the actual gear once in place. For the kind of trail riding I do, I find the clutch indispensable. With the clutch off, I will occasionally drop a chain during a ride, even with a narrow wide chain ring. Won't ride without a clutch RD. Unfortunately the Shimano unit does require occasional maintenance. Open up, clean, regrease.

You might get away with the careful application of a pair of waterpump pliers, with some leather in the jaws to protect the surface. Not ideal but will get you back on the bike for a while if the structure is not compromised. Take your time and be patient, then check the trueness of the wheel afterwards.

5.10's in SA is like searching for a Unicorn! In the end had family bring me a pair from CRC. Leatt shoes are a fairly good, available and more affordable option locally
