  1. You can make multiple cups by making a slightly stronger brew, splitting it and filling up with hot water. I have stopped making multiple cups though, results aren't as consistent. Rather just do the process twice.
  2. Aeropress is definitely an alternative to the Moka. Something special about preparing a Moka pot coffee, but for consistency, ease of use and convenience when travelling the Aeropress is a winner. I take the Moka when camping and on gas, but otherwise the Aeropress and Hario grinder has become my travelling companion when on contract. Porqui uses his Aeropress for everyday coffee at home, even when he has the availability of my Gaggia Espresso machine he still goes with the Aeropress.
  3. We have success! Slightly different in design but actually an improvement. I did manage to crack the part due to the plastic used to print being fairly hard, so the flex caused when inserting the lip that is supposed to capture the bur cracked the part. It still worked even with the part broken. I will just get the lip removed in the next print. Send me your details in a PM
  4. @Grebel test print done, I'll collect on the weekend and see if it works
  5. @Grebel haven't had a chance. Will chat to my mate and get him to print a test copy for size
  6. Got access to a printer if you have a file
  7. Please let us know. We split the same part on one of those eBay items
  8. We just use a square of wire mesh. Another cool idea, is to use an old worn disc brake! I've got one I'm going to be re-purposing for this.
  9. Great let us know how it goes! I did find when I first started on that combo that the perfect spinning gear was somewhere between 2 of the rear rings, but got used to that after a couple rides
  10. Just keep your current cassette to try thing out. I'm running 1x10 with the Shimano Deore 11-42T cassette and I'm very happy with it. RaceFace 32T chainring on the front. RaceFace use the "Cinch" direct mount interface. 29er YT Jeffsy.
  11. Take the money and run
  12. Anyone in CT have a half decent set of 12.5" wheels? Yes like the kind you have on a kids bike. Want to restore an awesome old scooter I have, but the rims are 1/2" too small for the tires I can get locally, so they keep coming off the bead. New wheels will sort the problem out
  13. What brakes are fitted? Cable actuated or hydraulic disc?
  14. My PID has finally rocked up at the post office, now just to go pick it up and install on my Gaggia Coffee.
  15. Current fork setup is a threaded unit, might be able to change bearing cups and fit your current fork? No charge, it's nothing fancy, but yours if you can use it.
  16. Uses a quill stem, not sure if I still have a spare, would have to look. I have a crank set for it. Only other thing would be a seat post, got a clamp but no post and it's 27.2 or 27.4mm I think
  17. Where you based? Might have a basic frame that could be resurrected as a commuter in CT
  18. If you find a reverb remote that fits under the bar on the left, I have a left over bar I'm looking to swap out.
  19. Where you based? Need some bits to get a friends bike up and running again. Is the Crank in a usable state?
  20. I'm sure an engineering works can make you a couple spacers for you.
  21. Struggled out on tokai yesterday, down the Cobra was like riding a bucking bronco! My hands were dead by the time I got to the car. Jumps where fine. I'm a light weight though. Have just dropped the pressure a bit and pulled out the 2 tokens. Need to go test it now though. Have put my old Gobi on
  22. This time with picture! Couch is too small now for the big wheels
  23. A new steed for me. Now just to get the suspension dialed. *Pic didn't upload... it's coming*
  24. Aquaseal Urethane glue should the job too. Well know to divers for repairs in rubber ducks, wetsuits etc etc. I use it to repair kite bladders. Creates a super tough very very flexible film for repairing things like pin holes too. Just not cheap
  25. Thanks to CRC and some traveling family.???????????? 5.10's at last. Now just to trail test them!
