  1. Copy of ID will also work. Did for us at least
  2. Another thing to keep in mind and an issue with brands like Continental in the past, make sure you thoroughly wash the tire first to get ride of all the oily / silicone? residue in the rubber that is used to preserve its shelf life. Find it tends to make the sealant bead up and not stick nicely to the rubber surface and seal up.
  3. If it's cage then as Diesel said, pop a nut on the other side, otherwise cage parts are replaceable.
  4. Heli coil or see if you can fit a longer bolt. Don't forget the lock tight
  5. Pool noodle sliced open (one with a hole in the middle), put that over the upright tubes, then a velcro loop strap or something similar to secure the frame to it
  6. Just been to the Tokai office to get my extensive, quick and easy, everyone was very polite. As of today you can now also purchase a new Activity card. Think it's R620 for initial and R270 for additional members (up to 3 additional members per card)
  7. Walk into Stoke suspension works and there isn't an RS service kit that is not hanging on the wall. Wiper kits have also always been cheaper for RS over Fox
  8. Triptych is your best bet. They specialize in bikes, was almost half the cost of even XOC (Courier Guy) who is my normal go too.. Used them about 18 months back, back then was R500. Great comms and service.
  9. Bridge is one of those places you don't even both with online. Walk into the store rather, have a chat and they will go out their way to get you a go deal. They also carry a huge stock of weird and wonderful derailleur hangers.
  10. Mate bought the bike. Still no idea what the frame is, definitely DJ orientated. Fork is a Manitou Sherman Flick plus TPC 110-150. Rear wheel, hub, cassette is new, front is a Rolf Dolomite twin pull. Front caliper actually rubs spokes, so disc has been spaced 6mm from the hub. (Never seen a pad so badly contaminated) Over all not a bad setup for thee riding he will do. Just need a bigger 180mm rotor for up front.
  11. That's a Bell 206 L1 Long Ranger, reg ZS-RGW. Been around the block that machine, my flight school used to operate in in CT about 10 years back. A Long Ranger, especially the L1 is not a machine for the mountains and altitude with any load (an L4 version is another animal) Squirrel is designed for that kind of work and will actually carry 4 bikes, pax and gear.
  12. Friends that own an AS350 wanted to start a heli cycling setup in CT but insurance was ridiculous which made it not viable
  13. Got a mate in need of a 180mm (6 bolt) disc and post mount adapter if anyone has lying around to go to a good cause
  14. Apparently those frames are "Bomb proof"
  15. For those wanting to look at the Izzo but not able to access the international YT site I finally managed to get in with this link, just translate from German https://www.yt-industries.com/cat/index/sCategory/73661
  16. In the past the Giant dropper had a setback
  17. Rapide also sell spacer washers if needed
  18. As Chris said, you may notice the gap in the gearings, feeling like you want something inbetween 2 of the sprockets but you will forget about it after a while as you get used to it.
  19. I'm running a Shimano HG500 cassette, they can be had for R500-600. 11-42T, 10spd with a 32T chain ring. Can't fault the setup. Will do an 11spd 11-46T setup eventually, but very happy with what I'm running now, especially for the money.
  20. Phoenix is another one of the big boys that closed their doors. Was a great sim and the DX6i an ugly but very capable, user friendly radio. Compatible with Orange RX and Lemon receivers.
  21. And the fork? Front loading QR skewers by the look of sone pics.
  22. Lots but not at. Some of their Ruckus frame and the LaBomba don't have the odd triangle.
  23. Got a good mate looking at buying this bike, but I'm not quite sure what it is post respray etc. I'm feeling it's possibly an older GT frame with some Manitou fork (rear arch the obvious tell) Unfortunately I think the family member he would buy it from over invested in a R3.5k service of wheels and other parts and wants a bit much at R4k for it
  24. How many Tokens you running?
  25. Yip JR under, Thunder Tiger also gone under.... even looking at the mighty HobbyKing online store these days that was the go to for everything, they now only have one 450 size heli kit, it doesn't include blades and HobbyKing don't carry a single 450 size blade any more when we used to have a choice of a hundred. Li-Po's can now also only be sent via courier. Batteries are making the hobby very expensive, most of my heli'd have sat on the shelf just for lack of affordable power packs (and time). A Cathay pilot friend was bringing me some batteries and then lockdown hit
