Hi Urban thank you very much for the vote of confidence. Just a brief background of the facts.This individual stated that he will refund my money not only verbally but also within sms conversations. We arranged via sms on 4 occasions to meet regarding the reimbursement but he only actually made the initial meeting at which he stated that he would pay me at the following meet to which he never pitched. He then postponed these meetings on three further occasions again with no shows on every occasion. Since the 4th appointment I have had absolutely no contact and he refuses to answer my calls or sms's. Further to this he made an arrangement with Matt/Admin on here that he would refund my money by last Friday 6th March, he has reneged on this arrangement as well. What is not at issue is the condition of sale as I have sufficient evidence that an agreement was reached to reimburse the funds on admission of the respray. The real issue is that I have been lied to and now am the victim of the ducking and diving of this character. Thanks very much for your input and concern.

Thanks Look, in truth I am seriously bitter about being lied to and jerked around. This individual is clearly not someone who even has the integrity to come on here and attempt to defend himself let alone speak to me, so I am hugely disillusioned with this issue. I do not conduct business this way and would not wish this on any of my fellow Hubbers. Thanks ever so much for your support and keep on watching this space as I know that integrity and truth will win the day.

Cheers Overlord you are correct I was just so excited when the frame serial number checked out with ASG that I got a little ahead of myself. The frame is legit and that is not what is at issue the real problem is that Foil40 agreed to refund the money but is now ducking and diving. But your point is well made, thank you.

Yes beardedtriguy this is the thing that I don't get either. He had another Dogma for sale on here at some point as well, which I think he is now riding and has recently bought a Cannondale Lefty MTB. Seems to be fairly new to the sport but increasingly more involved now through the Star Cycling Club.

Yes Reg, this is the same guy who sold me the resprayed Dogma frame and despite promises to both myself and Matt to reimburse my money, he now refuses to respond to any communications. We are busy pursuing this individual.

He nathrix he has just removed the AD possibly because of my negative rating. He was casually fishing around in The Classifieds section when online.

Yes cpperhead a real irony that he was looking for someone to respray a frame and then this pops up.

Thanks Baaisiklist, the money is not the issue in this instance it is the opportunity to offload a resprayed bike. The individual is currently on the Hub as we speak and scratching around in the classifieds section, I am not even certain that he is aware of this thread. Your point regarding verification of posts as well as collecting from the sellers home is well made and certainly a lesson painfully learnt.

Thanks Sky I will make a plan to track that ad down. We are looking to recover the monies with full costs and expenses. Thanks for the advice I will consider that option.

Yes wil6 that is sadly the case. Even at this point I would happily take the money, return his frame and walk away chalking this up as a bad experience. I am however at the point of no return where legal and tactical procedures have been put in motion. Thanks for the vote of confidence. All I can ask is that anybody who does know this individual should be acutely aware of what he has done.
