Cheers DIPSLICK, the money has not been an issue from the getgo. It is more about the dishonesty of the deed and the thinking that good people will back down from exhaustion to let evil triumph. This is what makes this situation so unpalatable.

Hi Edge, yes he has watched all of this unfold and has not had the decency to respond but rather uses the cowardice of his supposed anonymity to watch as decent people suffer.This is just wrong and an indictment of exactly the kind of person The Hub doesen't need and a stark reminder of what lurks on the other side of our otherwise decent society.

Thats right Rocket, that is all I wanted from the start but how do you begin a conversation with someone that just ignores your every plea and now even the legal ramifications directly from my lawyer. We have played open cards, firstly directly with this individual and latterly on here through Matt, Harry, myself and the several supporters like yourself. All of our requests have fallen on deaf ears and this guy laughs at us everytime he comes on here to check this out.

Hey Nayr, thanks for the concern. You are 100% correct I am currently without the use of this frame that I paid for as it is in dispute. If it were an option to have it checked to establish the extent of the damage then make a call on professional repair and possible professional respray I may have considered that. Unfortunately this is not an option as it would be too costly and I don't have the funds to throw at the frame at this stage. Over and above the financial issue, there is a legal issue at play whereby the frame will be returned in the same condition as when sold to me so that I can be reimbursed with costs. Should I build, repair or alter the frame in any way it will not be as it was when purchased. This is an incredibly frustrating experience but in the end truth and honesty will win the day.

you are dead right on the reference Skylark it was merely a statement of fact. The club has retracted both their comments and the previous threat made against me so I assume that they agree with the several Hubbers who have reiterated exactly your point. Hopefully they will examine the conduct of their member.

Thanks big Ben interesting perspective, herewith my view as a longstanding club member of a few clubs and active committee member, as well as past chairman. I think that if a member in that specific community effects that community in a negative manner then the club should know about that and investigate that members actions.

Brilliantly put Shebeen. When I pointed to the name of the Club it was merely done as a reference to the association of this individual. Since then, much support has made this very point that the club should back this issue and back the investigation of this matter in the same way that Admin on The Hub has done. It would surely be in the best interest of the club to know what their members are doing with regard to the cycling community at large and assist in the protection thereof.

Thanks Gerhard, absolutely nothing and given what has occurred to date with this individual it would not surprise me at all. The real objective of posting this is not just an attempt to get my money back but more importantly to make other Hubbers aware of the nature of this character and stop him from doing this again.

Just need to correct something Urban, payment was offered to me in full in person the day after I bought the frame. It was then reconfirmed with every meeting setup that was arranged, to which this guy never arrived. Payment was then guaranteed in full last Thursday to Matt in a telephone conversation so as to not remove his profile from The Hub. Point is that payment in full was offered just not delivered. Thanks Soapbox, yes I am really privliged to have HarryN jump all over this. I must say that I have had dealings with litigators previously both professionally and privately in terms of my profession but The Beast takes the cake.

That is absolutely correct Marvin, if immediate payment is not capable then attachments are now the order of the day.

Okay so what happens from here is that this individual is responsible not only for the reimbursement of the frame but also the relevant costs that are accrued. In this particular instance the price of hiring a Private detective to establish his physical address, the sheriffs costs, the cost of my distress time effort and energy to recoup these funds and then finally Harry's fee. Then should an arrangement be reached over a period of time there will be interests accruing on all of these funds...... need I continue.

WOW!!! okay so this was a little unexpected even by the reputation of the great Harryn. Harry all I can say is that you never cease to amaze me and your clients with the degree to which you are willing to go to to see justice done. I assume now finally that Mr Saal will do the right thing and make right both this situation and restore his reputation as a human being. The cognoscence of repeated ignorance of all of our requests can no longer be ignored and I can only assume that if that is to continue then the punishment deemable in terms of his professional obligations in this matter will go well beyond the price of his ignorance and that of the frame. For this Harry I and several Hubbers are indebted to you and your organization even further, that you have the integrity of mind and ability to see justice done in this degree is overwhelming. I remain forever in your debt. I reiterate my position in this regard and that is that this should serve as a final appeal to do what is right, right now or face the Beast that will cause undue discomfort. I have been overaccomodating with this individual with regard to this matter and am now out of patience and really leave the consequences of his lack of responsibility in your hands.

Hey marko , thanks for posting, you should be aware that at no point did I accuse the club of anything merely mentioned this individuals association. This is like the press reffering to a criminals Facebook membership it is merely by association and not accusation or with reference to that particular organization. Anyway the threat made towards me on behalf of the club has been removed.

Hi guys, I have been overwhelmed by the support that I have received on this site and feel that I need to say something about that. To all of you who have come on here to provide support for my unfortunate situation you are the mainstay of what keeps The Hub honest and to you all, I am truly grateful. The fact that this matter will resolve itself in a positive outcome I am no longer concerned about as I now believe that, that is a given. It is really in my and many who have so ardently supported me in this issue, a matter of when, rather than if, the reimbursement will occur that we are now dealing with. Without the assistance of the magic of The Hubs existence, it’s majesty and ability for relative self control, we would not have the aptitude of expression, power of capacity for our own representation, or those that oppose us and that really is our strength. I am blown away by the level of backing and encouragement that I have had and continue to receive from everyone who has been so kind as to support me in seeing this initiative though. The complexity of the legal process will follow shortly, something that I have tried to avoid, but no longer have a choice over. There are just a few individuals that I would like to single out as well as those that are helping behind the scenes that have chosen to do so privately and asked to remain incognito.
