  2. A very sexy frame but the name just does not make the cut for me. Black one is nice though
  3. post pic of daughter ... o, and bike
  4. Why not unlimited racing and hot bikes ,, but everyone loves "trying" to have a family "But baby, were trying. Its not like I only race and spend my cash on bikes. I want a family as much as you - i will keep on trying till we succeed" Ok - not trying to tune the people with real problems , just saying - I like to try and try again
  5. Yup , keep it real for as long as posible. Live life there are plenty of time later for kids and all that stuff. General life rules 2010 VS 1980's. Way back people married very young 22-24ish , had kids early in life, and had lots of time to spend with their kid while they as parents are still young, still they lived (and still live) till very old 85+ Today's parents - marry alot later - 28-32 ish (ok some still marry early, but thats a dif story all together) , they then live life to the fullest for a long time before settling down with kids and the more serious stuff , problem is then its game over - average age before passing away also came down alot in the region of 70. Like your career is a choice you made way back , the same goes for marriage. Either you choose to live and do stuff or get married and have children and live a more conservative life, settle down and get serious into the family building business. The other problem I find is this : Once you have you first child , then you have to have the next one in 3-4 years time (if you want more than one), otherwise you'll be raising children for the rest of your life. if your lucky you hit triplets first time around - work your ass off and bam - your sorted with a full family setup once-off. its harder on the wallet, but gives you more time for yourself in 8 years time, instead of raising baby number 2 and 3 from scratch. Ok I'm bored at work... LOL
  6. I think the obvious line down that root invested path is way left around (coming from the top) - you f'kers just want to make it more difficult trying to go over the roots. Wana see how you do that when it has rained. Those roots will be "snot glad" and you'll end up with a face plant on the tree or in between the roots
  7. moer him in the face. F*kers like that needs a good beating - they are just Screwing up SA more
  8. jip, thats it and obviously will a big pay check also give a guy motivation to change. Damm if someone payed me to wear different socks I'd be keen ASTANA2010-02-03 09:12:59
  9. lower body fat will also help to show the muscles you already have in the calf area (if your riding for some time already you would have developed some lines there) This is beginning to sound alot like a bodybuilding forum... LOL Remember - cycling = endurance sport --- meaning big muscles are quite useless --- you need some well conditioned, lean, flexible muscles with lots of endurance from repetitive movements Use it or don't use it. Some jogs out there really need to start cycling to get some form in there their lower body ASTANA2010-02-03 09:06:17

    Ha Ha

Thats just shocking.. Bad Experience ?
  12. quite a combo there techguy. Impressed. Do you run slime in the tubes aswell ? What frame to you have that you are willing to take it off road ?
  13. What would you guys suggest is the best road wheel setup for training purposes ? Cheap is usually bit heavier, but robust, durable and good for training (crappier rolling resistance etc) What set of rims would one use ? Some Shimano rims Alu clinchers ?? Tires - Conti Gatorskins + tubes with slime and maby even liners Solid setup to keep on going and going - no flats and no emotion when hitting pot holes or gravel. Then use the Easton SLX for racing Any Ideas - its just economics - don't want to spoil my wheels doing rides in 5o'clock traffic dodging glass and potholes, and have the added "benifit" of training heavier wheels, and will feel the dif on racing day
  14. She prob just tried some other method to dope with cera. Ricco maby just did too much too often, while she tried little bits often. Seems they still did not get the combination, amount and time right. They need some more family members for trail, or other idiots. LOL Once you find the shortcut, its hard to earn it the hard way
  15. A month in Stellenbosch By: Christoph SauserPublished: January 27, 17:28, Updated: January 27, 17:30 I know they (Spec) come here every year - but just to read this on Cylingnews - priceless http://www.cyclingnews.com/blogs/christoph-sauser/a-month-in-stellenbosch
  16. if you posted gay sh*t before then you "blacklisted"
  17. Road - carry in back pocket - Pump,2tubes,levers and cell if all of these fail. R20- you never know how the south easter blow down here in the cape. MTB - cell , rest is rock solid (tubeless) if that fails I'll walk to a area with reception and call out. Have done a 5km walk in a mountain with bike on the back so got the scars and pain to never forget the phone again - also it was dark, no headlight Saddle bags suck - while your up to it why dont you put on wheel bags and a toptube lunch box as well. Some people on the argus looks like they are doing a Africa circumnavigation
  18. seriously guys ? Those shows are so freeken weird . I feel "brain dead" after watching something like that. My brains just says ****this sh*t and shuts down - screws up my whole day
  19. Ja jong. If people start to make money they just "ruk die hoender" next time around
  20. this was prob invented in Venice - water streets remember - so the hookers can paddle around but still be dressed for the occasion
  21. Just dont go to the lab (SL) Best guy would be dr swart but he is in CT. Surely you'll find someone up there. A bike shop setup usually not that good. (are exceptions though)
  22. reading the comments on news 24 .... what rookies (hope its none of you guys HAHA) obviously it means nothing that lance did not reach top 10 etc etc. Robbie hunter making the cut - so what - good for a sprinter and good for SA, means nothing compared to Lance Funny people out there, stating logic
  23. Another thing that you can do to get the same seat heights on both bikes' date=' is to turn the crank arm on the Mtb to the bottom. Measure from the pedal to the top of the seat. take this measurement and apply it to the roadbike in the same manner - put the roadbike's crank at the bottom and set the seat the same height as you measured on the Mtb[/quote'] You can not just do that because the thickness of the soles of the different shoes and the stack height of the different pedals/cleats. And if the saddles are not the same then you have the sagging if the saddle to consider aswell. true. Now what ?
