  1. I am probably gonna be in Oranjeville myself. If you get any details re: Routes, please keep let me know as well. Havent the slightest as to where to go around there!!

  3. I agree with you completely!!! http://www.velominati.com/the-rules/
  4. Seeing that I dont ride with a powermeter (although it sounds like I should invest in one) I was just interested in whether the Strava ones are more BS than anything else... As suspected BS!!! Thank you all
  5. Perhaps this has been covered under another thread & my search/eyes did not pick anything up. For those who use Strava, those who use Power Meters, but more Specifically those who use both... How accurate would the "Estimated average power output" on Strava be in comparison to the Power meter readings...?? Anyone tried & compared? Yes, it is estimated. Yes, it is averaged. Yes, it is more than likely guess work. Just as a matter of interest.
  6. And a kick in heel....???
  7. Awesome!!! Just around the corner from me... Riding tomorrow??
  8. Talk to me... Im in Sunninghill & more into road riding!! Not the best "climber" though
  9. Probably a setup issue. Try adding in an extra headset spacer of 5mm to start with & see whether that makes it feel better. http://www.hughston.com/hha/a_15_3_2.htm
  10. Hey Treb... I'd be been to join you guys, although Id probably prefer an earlier start (perhaps a 06h00 start)?? Any day of the week.

  19. Gotta give the Heai Safari swim a skip this weekend, but wil go for a swim at Emmerentia probably instead... Rock up at 06:30 for a 06:50 swim! I'll be there
  20. Went for a swim Sunday at Emmerentia. Very nice!! Water clean etc etc Note to self... Recommend to go either around 06:30-7:00 or after 09:00. The canoe club has something going on Saturdays & Sundays (Time trial by the looks of it?) between 08:00 & 09:00 and it can get a little hectic with 15-20 odd canoes trying to keep head above water.
  21. Hey Guys. Whats your take on swimming at Emmerentia over weekends? Say Saturday &/or Sunday mornings? Would it be safe? Is there a lot of other people utilising the dam eg. paddlers?
  22. That we are aware of....
  23. There is only one thing that could be blamed... E P O
  24. There can be only one reason for all this hostility... Got one word for you!! Erythropoietin
