  1. Ok, after having read this whole thread from start to finish, I must say, everyone is very quick to jump to conclusions and judge the person, without any fact as to the situation, Big ups on MTBaaisiklist for stepping up and telling your story. I cannot wait for a world where everybody with an opinion will wait for all parties involved to have their say, before making their own judgement, but alas, that will never happen, as that will take all the sensationalism out of it. Good luck with the road forward, and I pray that you will have the kahunas to still ride your bike. Ride for the fun of it and enjoy every moment of it. Don't let this one event keep you off your bike.
  2. Should have it up at least a week, please!!!
  3. Can I come to the Jonkers ride as well? PLEASE! Side note: On the setup side, I was forced to replace my Manitou R7 form on Friday, due to everything going to pieces when they wanted to service it. Was an accident waiting to happen. Now I got a Fox Talas second hand form ReCycles in Bellville, and what a difference. All of a sudden I enjoy rocky sections again. Now I just need to get my DT Swiss M210 replaced with a RP23 and I will be a very happy camper on my bike again.
  4. They missed the chainstays...
  5. Nope, not in Gift Acres anymore. They moved further up, closer to The Grove mall, in Lynnwood Road.
  6. That is correct yes.
  7. Lynnwood Cyclery used to be FPC. They give awesome service, and have sent me some stuff down to Cape Town on their account in the past.
  8. Anything is better than Avids, IMO. Can't wait to get rid of mine.
  9. You will do a whole lot of Leeuloops...
  10. That looks like a pretty good deal, but you will not be doing much jumping on an Epic Carbon frame. For XC and Marathon it will be great, but not jumping. I would suggest you look at something with 120-140mm travel at least ifyou want to jump as well.
  11. Can you send it toe as well, pretty please...
  12. Still need to get myself one of these. Have the Nespresso and the Moka pots, but the Aeropress is still lacking in my collection...
  13. With you on this. This just does something to me on the inside. Much more than the Jag.
  14. Ditto.
  15. Techniblock is the only thing I use. I hate the creams. You get a bit high, while applying it to your face, due to the alcohol in there, but no runny SPF into your eyes on long days, and no burning either.
  16. There you go. He is good. Great sports physio as well!
  17. Got mine yesterday as well.

  19. LED Lenser all the way!!!
  20. What about the Look S-Track pedals? These look to be the business but I have not been able to find out what they will put one back. I am holding on to my SPD's till I can get me some of these. http://www.lookcycle...es/s-track.html
  21. Nice outside the box thinking Wayne. Like the idea!
  22. Good to know something like this exists. Would be great to use for commuting. Would love to know what the product is.
  23. That does not look bad. If you can drop an extra grand on this, I would do it.
  24. Awesome to see this. Well done Pieta
  25. I am with you on that. I love my 26" duallie and will never get rid if it, but want to build myself a 29" hardtail SS next year as a project, but to use mainly for commuting. I gave a big guy on a 29" big tickets yesterday in the wind on a flat road. Get fit and ride what you have as hard as you can.
